Three problems related to door hinge have been reported for the 1998 Mercury Grand Marquis. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Left front door hinge won't stay open, resulting in injuries.
The driver's door will not stay open on an incline, consumer has had ankle caught twice.
Door are heavy by design causing them to shut even on a small hill when the doors are opened.
