Two problems related to frame and members have been reported for the 1998 Mercury Grand Marquis. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
When applying the brakes frame lifts up and shakes on the right side due to the bolts stripping on the vehicle. This can cause the body of the vehicle to separate from the vehicle in a vehicle crash. Dealer has vehicle.
When driving if pavement is a little uneven the vehicle vibrates crazy. When riding over bumps the vehicle sounds like a truck. Vehicle was at dealership at least four times for repairs which dealer said, there is no prioblem.
