My windshield wipers started coming on and off by themselves in my 2005 Grand Marquis. They also started spraying all of the windshield wipers fluid out. The lights also flicker on and off by themselves. The wipers then stopped working all together. I took it to a Ford dealership where they could not locate the problem.

My car's light model has been recalled but mine failed before recall. I had it repared locally by a non Ford shop. At the time of my recall I had over the 250,000 miles allowed on the car. The local Ford shop (woolwine collins ms) refused to repair my car or reinburse me for my repairs I had done about 6 months before the recall. I continue to get notices from Ford to correct the problem but what can I do??.

Ford motors issued letter dated January 2016 for safety recall notice 15s39 / NHTSA recall 15v-861. Followed up with local dealership 5/11/16 - no parts available yet - call Ford corp customer relations. Called Ford corp - no parts available yet - call your local dealership. Called both parties again 8/4/16 and again on 1/18/17. Same response. Each referred the problem back to the other. Is this issue going to be resolved or not? hopefully it won't take an injury or death for it to become a priority with Ford.

Headlamps go out intermittently while driving at night. Ford dealer says only way can fix problem, which is an investigation, customer satisfaction # 14n01, is for the problem to be occurring when it is checked. This is absurd, as the problem is known to be intermittent - related to bad relays / relay installation. These idiots need to be told to fix the problem before someone kills someone just to demonstrate that the problem exists!.
