Owners/service Manual Problems of Mercury Mariner

The car stalled on me twice today. The first time it happened, I was traveling on gibson at 45 mhp and made a left turn suddenly car stalled while in gear. I was able to coast to the shoulder, however I could not restart the car. I checked the manual and came across the fuel safety cut off switch located on the front passenger side panel. I pushed the reset button and was able start the car. Second time, I was approaching a traffic light the car stalled on me again. I pushed the reset button again, and started the car. At this point I am not sure what is happening to my car, and I don't want to be on the freeway at high speeds when it suddenly happens again. It appears to me that the fuel flow is being suddenly cut off to the engine.

I was driving along with a full car of soccer players and lost momentum. Had to navigate to the side of road . . The vehicle threw an orange wrench light which is my manual said it was a power train problem. I was happy to be safe and ok with the fact that it would be covered on power train(my assumption). Later found out it was the throttle body and because I am outside mileage warranty on bumper to bumper (but inside the years) it is going to cost me $485. 20. I am animate and will get this reimbursed by Ford motor company.

Unable to turn key to start vehicle, had to manually move steering wheel. Replaced ignition switch in may 2012, then replaced steering column ignition lock assembly in July 2013. Received a safety recall notice from Ford regarding power steering system reverting to manual steering mode. I spoke with the service manager at the local Ford dealership and was told that my previous repairs were covered under the recall. I submitted the paperwork to Ford for reimbursement and was denied.
