Was driving down the highway at 75 mph with cruise control set. The wrench light and traction control light came on , cruise control turned off and lost power and speed. I had to pull off into the ditch to avoid an accident and drive down the shoulder to a rest stop. I turned off the car and let it sit for for 5 minutes and the turned it back on and it ran fine. After reading other issues like mine I'm thinking it may be the throttle body or traction control sensors.
Driver's side door handle broke in the process I dislocated my finger. Door will not lock from inside or outside. Only way out is to either open the window (which is nearly impossible in michigan winters) or pull the lock open further at the same time that I pull the door handle. I have broken countless fingernails on my left hand because of this. The door pieces are so flimsy, you can tell that they are made out of very, very cheap plastic. Recall? not only is this a nuisance, but it is a very high security issue if needing to get out of the car in a hurry.
