When diving on any road in winter conditions the back end starts to wiggle side to side even with new tires 15 mph and up no matter what you do rear end goes left to right back and forth very uneasy feeling like you have no control makes other drivers nervous seeing it there's gotta be something done about it with how many claims of this happening too many people spending too much money and still left with the same problem I have a family me my wife and 5 kids just on my income I can't afford any money for guessing games it's bull shit stop playing around please before people start crashing and getting seriously hurt or dead.
While driving my 2006 Mercury Milan on 65mph highway engine started sounding like it was reving up. The speed of the vehicle slowed down drastically. A small warning light that look like a wrench came on. After shutting engine off I restarted vehicle and made it home with light off. Now each time I start to drive anywhere wrench light comes back on and engine seems to rev up and unable to increase speed. Vehicle is also idling fast. I've noted per onine conversation this is a common complaint with Mercury Milan vehicles. Uncertain if this is recurring issue as I've owned car less than 30days.
Taka recall and throttle body when driving the car at normal speed than I come to a stop the car will not excel any faster than 2 or 3 miles per hour. Or driving on hwy it slows down to the speed of 2 or 3 miles. Cant use the speed control because it puts it into the 2 or 3 miles. If you stop and turn off car it resets it self and runs normal till it does it again.
Window don't wort r window.

Takata recall, I received a letter on July 2016 from Ford about a recall on my vehicle for the airbag. I have been waiting patiently to be notify that the parts are available. Also back in 2011, the summers were very hot. When I walked to my car after work. . I noticed the dashboard on the passenger side was bubbled up, down by the bottom half of where the airbag is. I took it to the dealership where I get my oil changes and other up keeps on the vehicle and they told me to contact Ford . Ford said to me that my car was no longer under warranty and there is nothing they can do. I took it to the dealership and they said , they could try to fix it but they couldn't guarantee that it would work. They said it would cost about $300. 00 because they would have to take the glove box out and deactivate the airbag and cross are fingers that it holds once they basically glue it. Well, when I got this recall, it put me to thinking if this recall had anything to do with this bubbling up like it did. I take very good care of my vehicles and get pretty good trade-ins for them , now because of this manufacture defect or possibility having to do with the recall. The trade-in will be docked because of this defect that I had nothing to do with. People that ride on the passenger side ask me if the airbag will erupt while they are sitting there. I tell them , that I was informed that it probably wouldn't. (encouraging words, right). I'm sending you the letter I received about the recall back on July 2016, that I'm still waiting on and also pictures of my dashboard where the airbag is,. I know you will be surprised like me, when I walked to my car after work to see my dashboard bubbled up by the heat and airbag.
I was sitting in my car and I was about to get out and when I tried to open the driver side door the door handle broke so now I have to roll my window down to open the door from the outside and the handles on the rear door are starting to break also.
My vehicle sometimes stalls in motion or it will suddenly jerk forward when accelerating. This incident also occurs when accelerating to high speeds, such as getting on the freeway. The speed varies as it has also occured in town driving. It has gotten to the point where the only way to fix this problem is to turn off the engine and then turn it back on.
Well we were driving through the appalachian mountains on the highway, we went to pass a car that was slow. We stepped on the accelerator and it tried to shift into overdrive (because everyone if flying through there). But, as that happened the transmission slipped and sent the rpms to a really scary area where we thought it was going to blow up. Luckily, they came back down but as we would drive until it stopped. A couple months later we figured out if when that happened if we pulled over turned the car off let it sit for a minute then turn it back on and it would work fine for a while then. So, to me it almost seems like its a computer issue but its not because we went to an as-e certified shop and had the computers flashed then reprogrammed and it still does it while driving.
While getting on the highway car stalled would not pick up speed nearly causing an accident was told I need a new tcm and pcm and will require coil replacement. According to maintenance schedule transmission flush and fill due at 90,000.
Driver's side door handle broke in the process I dislocated my finger. Door will not lock from inside or outside. Only way out is to either open the window (which is nearly impossible in michigan winters) or pull the lock open further at the same time that I pull the door handle. I have broken countless fingernails on my left hand because of this. The door pieces are so flimsy, you can tell that they are made out of very, very cheap plastic. Recall? not only is this a nuisance, but it is a very high security issue if needing to get out of the car in a hurry.
The inside front passenger door handle broke from under the door panel and became inoperable. This required the inside door handle to be replaced on or about 10/2009. Car was purchased new in oct. 2006, had less than 30,000 miles and was rarely occupied by anyone other than the driver I. E. The front passenger door was rarely used. Since then, both inside rear door handles are becoming difficult to operate and will most likely require replacement in the very near future. On or about 9/15/2014, the front inside passenger door handle which was previously replaced again became inoperable and had to be replaced on 10/2/2014. The front driver inside door handle broke and became inoperable on or about 9/30/2014 and was replaced also on 10/2/2014. The handles appear to be of very poor quality and do not hold up at all. If the rear doors were used more frequently, it would be necessary to replace them also at this time. Current car mileage is 92000 miles.
