Takata airbag recall - I'm being told that no passengers are safe in the front seat of my car until "further notice". This car has been in the recall process for over 2 years and now there is no end in sight. I cannot drive safely, I cannot sell the car as it carrys a liability. I call the Ford repair office every few months and am always told that the airbag replacement part is out of stock. No airbag incident yet.

Taka recall and throttle body when driving the car at normal speed than I come to a stop the car will not excel any faster than 2 or 3 miles per hour. Or driving on hwy it slows down to the speed of 2 or 3 miles. Cant use the speed control because it puts it into the 2 or 3 miles. If you stop and turn off car it resets it self and runs normal till it does it again.

Takata recall - dash damage to airbag area was not repaired and is getting worse by the day. Please note that the date shown below is the date that I emailed sutton Ford in matteson, illinois. . . Pictures of the dash. . . It was damaged before they replaced the airbag and still damaged when we picked it up. . . We were told that Ford would not cover the costs for the dash repair which is clearly caused by the airbag.

"takata recall"- it has been almost 2 years since the recall started. Your CO. Is costing me money. Because of the risk to my life and since the part is still not available, I had to buy another car. I am retired and on a fixed income and had not planned to buy a car. Even though my car is a 2006, it still drives well, has new tires and a new battery. Now, I don't know what to do with it. I don't want to sell it and risk injury to another person or family. I feel like I have been mistreated. If I weren't responsible and didn't make payments, I would have had negative consequences given to me. Yet, your company is not being punished for what you have done. I am very disappointed and want some type of reimbursement, since I can't safely drive my car with my family in it! it seems like you only want to help, if or when there's an accident. Help me before something happens!.

Was notified by Ford motor CO 7 months ago that there was a safety hazard with the airbag system and I would be notified when the part would be available. Received a 2nd notice recently to contact the dealer and now the dealer says they cannot order parts until the takata (air bag manufacturer) bankruptcy is resolved, possibly in the spring of 2018. This is unacceptable!!.

Received recall letter 2016 contacted Ford dealers, no parts to repair letter said safe to drive. Contact Ford customer service asked that they fix it or buy it back. Received nasty fedex letter from Ford to take it up with auto better business if I had a problem. Now I receive letter from Ford don't let anyone ride in passenger seat. I haven't done that since the first letter. This is a safety violation. We need a class action suit against Ford.

I have been trying to get my defective airbag replaced since I received notice of this defect which was probably over a few years ago. I've called multiple dealerships and each time I've been told that the parts are on back order. I've read what can happen if the airbag deploys (e. G. , serious injury, death) and I have to drive the car every day to work, etc. I have two small children so everyday I put my life and my children's lives in jeopardy. It's a ticking time bomb, but it isn't their lives who are at stake so they don't care. To say it's completely frustrating is an understatement.

Takata recall 16v384000 dated June 2016. Dealer has no parts. Ford motor company response is passive, uncaring at best. Vehicle is unsafe to use and impossible and immoral to sell. Nhtsa notice now states bankruptcy court ordered a deadline of December 27, 2017 for all claims. Can status of replacement by Ford motor company be investigated and expedited?.
