Takata recall, received a post card from tk holdings explaining about the chapter 11 that was filed. ,it states to contact your nearest dealership immediately to schedule a free repair. I contacted two dealerships and neither one could help because first they didn't know anything about the postcard until, they started getting calls about it. Second, they don't have the parts, one said they wouldn't know who to contact to get the parts. So it sounds like to this was very disorganized through this company and Mercury Ford , no communication to their dealers. What do I do now to get the airbag and get it installed. . The dealership near me said, they are sorry but they don't know what to say and they were sorry but they don't have any information about this and I was the 10th person that called them today about this post card. They said they don't have the parts and the parts have not been made for my vehicle .
Takata recall I called Ford and was basically told there were no parts avail and had no estimated time on replacement parts. This is my 6th attempt to get a replacement since the recall was issued.
The air bag on the passenger side shows sigh of a raise in the front part of the enclosure top. It shows whither the vehicle is moving or stopped.

''takata recall'' the defect started about June of 2017. I decided to check for any recalls on this vehicle. Has a recall but no action to repair any air bags as of yet. Defect showed up after I drove it one day in June.
Takata recall- after purchasing my vehicle I found out that the car was in a few previous accidents where the air bags were deployed. On the passenger side, which is the recalled side, I am worried about it exploding as my recall stated. My recall also stated that both passenger and drivers airbags , when deployed, can deploy with shards of metal and glass fragments. I am a short person generally and sit close to the wheel so I can reach everything. I also have many nieces and nephews who ride in my vehicle and I am concerned for the safety . It has been a while now and I have been calling and heard nothing about a solution for it and im wondering if there is anything I can do , aside from getting a new vehicle , that can help keep my family and I safe. As well as, how big of an impact my car can take before that thing explodes on me.

Takata recall - it's been nearly 2 years since my vehicle was recalled and I still don't have a replacement part for my vehicle. Ford doesn't seem to be taking this safety recall very seriousl.
I received a notice back in January saying that my airbag needed replacing and I would be contacted to set up a date and time to have them replaced, but I was never contacted to have this issue solved. I am very concerned at this point because I don't want my airbags deploying while my vehicle is in motion or stopped without any impact.

Throttle defect -loss of power/acceleration - and - takata airbag recall. Vehicle had not been driven more than 1-2 miles, and has been parked since may due to previous airbag warning and subsequent recall. Upon starting the vehicle on 10/23/16 to move it to wash it, the vehicle exhibited extremely limited acceleration and loss of power regarding acceleration, & then sudden acceleration. Car was parked along the curb, and when started, the orange wrench light came on. Upon attempting to drive it, the vehicle experienced extremely limited power/acceleration. It took a considerable distance to reach 30 mph. Upon reaching this speed on the highway, the vehicle accelerated very rapidly. Returned vehicle home and parked it immediately. Additionally, we received the takata airbag recall letter nearly 5 months ago, and there are still no parts available. Vehicle has less than 91, 000 miles.
Takata recall nothing bad has happened yet, thank god! recall was June 2016 and they said they would notify me when parts are available to fix the issue. However it is now nearly a year later and I still have not heard anything, and on owner. Ford. Com/tanaka it still says "status: 12 - recall incomplete. Remedy not yet available. " I've been driving in fear any time I have a passenger in the front seat - knowing that if I get in an accident the airbag may explode sending metal fragments shooting into me and my passenger. How is it ok that this is left "remedy not yet available?" how is it ok to put customers in danger without fixing the issue for over a year? are there not rental cars that they can give me in the mean time? I'm tired of waiting, I'm about to move out of the state, and will be unable to receive the letter saying it is fixed. Who knows if I will ever receive a letter anyway? this is disgraceful and horrible and frightening. I will be seeking legal action unless this is fixed now.
Takata recall - it has been over 30 days since the recall and Ford has not contacted me for the correction of this recall NHTSA 16v-384.
The passenger front air bag cover on the dash is lifting up on the left side and has been like this for a while. It looks a little higher. We have been trying to have this air bag fixed since the initial recall in July 2016. We are in our mid eighties and rely on this vehicle for many dr. Appointments & hospital visits for ourselves. There is no reason we have to ride around living in fear that our airbags can't be fixed. This needs to be addressed immediately!!! please have someone contact us as soon as possible!!!we are tired of excuses from the Ford company! I'm sure they knew about this issue for a long time even before the public knew. It shouldn't have to take people dying in their cars with this issue before the car companies address it!! thank you and we appreciate anything you can do to help us get this fixed!!.
Takata recall. I received a recall notice from Ford motor company in July 2016 (over one year ago) and Ford has still not made available a remedy for the recall. I am driving a vehicle with a potentially dangerous defect that can cause serious injury or even death and Ford has not provided a repair even after years of knowing the extreme risks their product may cause.
Takata recall: I received a safety recall notice in July from Ford motor company informing me of seatbelt issue affecting my vehicle. According to local Lincoln//Mercury/Ford dealer, parts not yet available six months after receiving notice. Since this is a safety concern of grave consequences, I am reluctant to use the vehicle. Since it is an older vehicle located in the southern region, when might I expect the part(s) to be available?.

I received a safety recall notice16s26/NHTSA recall 16v-384.
Takata recall, I received a letter on July 2016 from Ford about a recall on my vehicle for the airbag. I have been waiting patiently to be notify that the parts are available. Also back in 2011, the summers were very hot. When I walked to my car after work. . I noticed the dashboard on the passenger side was bubbled up, down by the bottom half of where the airbag is. I took it to the dealership where I get my oil changes and other up keeps on the vehicle and they told me to contact Ford . Ford said to me that my car was no longer under warranty and there is nothing they can do. I took it to the dealership and they said , they could try to fix it but they couldn't guarantee that it would work. They said it would cost about $300. 00 because they would have to take the glove box out and deactivate the airbag and cross are fingers that it holds once they basically glue it. Well, when I got this recall, it put me to thinking if this recall had anything to do with this bubbling up like it did. I take very good care of my vehicles and get pretty good trade-ins for them , now because of this manufacture defect or possibility having to do with the recall. The trade-in will be docked because of this defect that I had nothing to do with. People that ride on the passenger side ask me if the airbag will erupt while they are sitting there. I tell them , that I was informed that it probably wouldn't. (encouraging words, right). I'm sending you the letter I received about the recall back on July 2016, that I'm still waiting on and also pictures of my dashboard where the airbag is,. I know you will be surprised like me, when I walked to my car after work to see my dashboard bubbled up by the heat and airbag.
