Tl- the contact owns a 2008 Mercury Milan. The contact stated that while the son was driving at an undetermined speed the brakes failed to operate when pressing the brake pedal causing the vehicle to crash into the rear of a second vehicle. During crash the air bags did not deploy. No injuries were reported. A police report was taken at the sceen and the vehicle towed away. The vehicle was examined by an independent mechanic who diagnosed that the abs was faulty and needed to be repaired. The contact was informed that vehicle was included in NHTSA campaign number 19v904000(service brakes) but the parts needed to repair the defect were not yet available. The contact indicated that the vehicle had experience the same failure listed in the recall. The manufacturer and local dealer keller brothers Lincoln located at 1030 schaeffer rd, lebanon PA. Were notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 80. 000. Jft.
Other car failed to yield at stop sign. My car hit the SUV in the door area. My front end and hood are damaged. Airbags did not deploy. My car was in motion on a city street.
Takata recall recieved recall notice on July 2016 as of this date still no parts. Recieved letter November 2017 no passanger to ride in front passenger seat. My vehical was in a car accident in December 2017 and the on the drivers front fender, the airbags did not deploy. Was not sure if they were supposed to. The car slamed into another cars back bumper on the other cars left side. It slid due to road conditions of weather. It was at 3pm on a road with 35 mph speed limit. The other car was turning without a turn signal. We had the car repaired through our insurance at state farm. $4000 damage.
Involved in a serious motor vehicle crash on 8/14/08 in my vehicle and the air bags failed to deploy. This was a side, almost t-bone impact, and the curtain/side air bags did not deploy. As a result I had glass lacerations and my head hit the driver's window, smashing it and causing injury to my head.
