Front Driver Side Air Bag Inflator problems of the 2008 Mercury Milan

Takata recall. My local dealer has not been authorized to replace the airbag. I am very concerned about the danger and I'm considering not driving this vehicle until the inflator is changed. The problem is that I do not have a choice to drive or not, unless Ford provides a loaner.

Takata inflators. I received a notice about this recall many months ago. I've called my local dealerships to check for a repair and they still (as of today 10/4/18) tell me that they do not have the parts available and are not able to fix. I cannot believe I've been required to drive around with this hazard for so long while Ford has not been able to come up with a solution. This is not acceptable.

Still waiting on replacement part for passenger side airbag inflator. Was told by dealership that repair would be in 2nd or 3rd quarter(2018). Now being told parts will not be available until November 2018. I do not have any faith that they will be available. I have been trying to have this repair since oct of 2017.

Takata inflators: there seems to have been enough time now to get the airbags replaced. This is my daughters car and I just think that if this were the daughter of a big wheel at takata, the air bag would have been replaced already. Enough time, get it done !!!!.

Inquired with freeway barbee Ford dealership in denver CO a year after recall was announced for my vehicle (June 2016 announced, inquired Aug 2017) about replacing passenger airbag inflator and was informed that the recall status is incomplete/not-ready and there is nothing the dealer can do. Checking recall status moments ago, it still reads: . . . Recall status: recall incomplete. Remedy not yet available . . . This recall data last refreshed: Nov 3, 2017.

Takata inflators. . I was told by the dealer there are no parts to fix the recall.

Tamara inflators received a letter from Ford March 2017 a bout a recall have not heard any from them in almost a year I am driving with a defective air bags when will they honor the recall.

2008 Mercury Milan. Consumer writes in regards to replacement parts not available to repair passenger frontal airbag inflator recall notice. The consumer stated the engine light illuminated shortly after the vehicle was purchased.

Takata recall. . . . In July 2016 I received a safety recall notice for the passenger frontal airbag inflator. To this day, I haven't heard anything from Ford motor company as to solving this issue.

Safety recall received July 2016 by mail from Ford motor company passenger frontal airbag inflator rupture in crash. As of today, no remedy nor parts, nor further notices received. Unreasonable amount of time has passed since safety recall.

Ford motor company sent me a safety recall notification that my passenger airbag inflator may rapture in the event of crash, last July 2016. And it's been over year now! this is totally unacceptable.

Takata recall I tried calling several Lincoln dealerships to have the airbag inflators repaired but none of the dealerships have received the parts needed and have been waiting since June 2016. I can't sell the vehicle which only has 29,000 miles on it because of their failure to supply the repair parts needed. I can't drive the car because I'm afraid to!.

Takata recall 16v384. A recall was issued in June 2016 for my vehicle regarding a potentially defective airbag inflator that could rupture, creating a risk of personal injury of death. As of November 2017, no repair has been made available, which is unacceptable.

2008 Mercury Milan. Consumer writes in regards to replacement parts not available to repair airbag inflator and antilock brake system failure recall notices. The consumer stated she read about an abs recall. However, she never received a recall notice.
