Air Bag Not Deploy Problems of Mercury Mystique

While waiting to make a left turn, another vehicle going between 50-55 mph struck consumer's vehicle head on. Upon impact, air bags failed to deploy. The occupant of the vehicle that was killed was seated in the rear seat. According to the par the occupant was not buckled. According to the detective that investigated the crash, the impact was not to the direct front of the vehicle. Cw.

Consumer's vehicle was involved in a collision travelling approximately 20-25mph and was hit on the passenger's side door. Upon impact, air bags did not deploy. Both front and rear bumpers were off track. The front right & rear doors were pushed 2 feet into the drivers side, with the front & rear seats. The consumer suffered a broken nose , broken clavical in 2 places, 4 broken ribs, facial impairment and cracked the front bridge in mouth. (vehicle was totalled).

Vehicle was going 25-30mph and another vehicle coming north tried to make a left turn and the two vehicles collided. Consumers vehicle was hit head-on. Air bags did not deploy. Consumer had neck/ shoulders/ knees and back injuries, consumer was currently trying to contact Ford to find out why air bags did not deploy.

Another vehicle suddenly stopped & was rearended by the Mystique. Upon impact with other vehicle, air bags failed to deploy. 1 injury & emergency room treatment.

While in frontal impact the driver's air bag did deploy, but the passenger's airbag did not deploy, which did not protect the occupant in this accident. Also, the passenger's seatbelt did hold the occupant, causing the passenger to sustain head injuries. Please provide further information.

Vehicle was involved in a frontal collision at 55mph, and the airbags did not deploy, resulting in minor injuries. Dealer will be notified.
