Two problems related to front suspension have been reported for the 1999 Mercury Sable. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While driving in traffic going downhill vehicle started to shimmer. Also, vehicle shook so hard that it pulled steering wheel out of driver's hands. Consumer has contacted dealer. Dealer refused to provide any assistance. Consumer had the rotors replaced and now everything operates as normal, as the rotors would heat up, the pulsation would increase.
The car pulls sharply to the right under accelleration. Then when it is freewheeling it pulls to the left. The car has been in for repairs 3 times and has been out of service for almost 60 days.
