Two problems related to wiring have been reported for the 2014 Mini Cooper. The most recently reported issues are listed below. Please also check out the statistics and reliability analysis of the 2014 Mini Cooper based on all problems reported for the 2014 Cooper.
For the past year, all external light wiring has melted. First instance 5/24/18 both license plate bulbs shorted, second instance 10/26/18 drivers side headlight bulb connector inside light melted, third instance 5/21/19 passenger side headlight bulb wiring harness melted, fourth instance and current 5/30/19 right taillight bulb wiring melted.
