Tl-the contact owns a 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse. The contact stated that the srs and air bag warning light illuminated continuously. The vehicle was taken to a dealer for diagnostic testing. The technician diagnosed that the air bags system needed to be replaced. The failure recurred and the air bags system was replaced again. However, the failure persisted. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure was 7,000. Pam.
