Mitsubishi Endeavor 2004 fuel tank fill-up hose (sill hose) has hole - causing fuel leak when filling up the gas tank. It also cause the service light to turn on due to the holes in fuel hose. Dealer wants $600 for replacing the sill fuel hose. However, I feel it is not right, as its only 5 years old vehicle. I checked the part department to find out how much it cost to replace. The service tech told me that they have to order 6 more same parts for other customers for the same problem. It reminds me of Ford pinto - which can be very explosive when rear-collision-ed. Please advise, as I believe this kind of problem deserves a serious safety recall.
