When I accelerate there is a electric razor type sound but stops when I reach cruising speed. This only happens when we get to highway speeds. I had a tire replaced in September 2017.

The srs light on dashboard is on. I want to know if there is a recall from the manufacturer takata on the air bags.
It said it could possibly roll away on its own.
Tl- the contact owns a 2012 mitshubishi gallant. The contact stated that there was an abnormal vibration on the front drivers side of the vehicle while driving the vehicle 60 mph. The failure happened without warning. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it could not be diagnosed. The vehicle had its tires re balanced approximately 6 times. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure of the vehicle. The vehicle failure mileage was approximately 47,000. The VIN was not provided. Kh.
Frequent clogging of a/c drain and drainage into driver side foot hold. The service department is unable to clean drain tube at this point. The car is not parked under or near trees.

I was driving about 60 miles per hour on the highway around 3:00 pm on a weekday and my sunroof just shattered into thousands of pieces, it sounded like a gunshot when it broke. I swerved into the next lane, nothing happened but this incident could of been a lot worse. At the time no one else was on the highway so it couldn't have been a rock or something else that may have caused this to happen and regardless of the triple digit summer texas weather the glass was suppose to be heat tempered. I had to pull over because chunks of glass started to fly off and was hitting the back of my trunk, scratching the paint job.

The horn which is part of the airbag stayed on when I used my keyless entry remote to lock the car. I had to hit the horn button in the steering wheel to make it stop. The horn once again became stuck the next day when I honked my horn on the freeway to prevent a car from colliding with me as they tried to switch lanes. I could not get the horn to shut off this time and had to pull over to pull out the fuse. I plugged in the fuse when I arrived home and the horn came right back on. I then used a rubber mallet to tap around the horn button and steering wheel which finally stopped the horn. This is a huge safety concern as my horn will now not sound at all.
Had trouble changing gears from park to drive felt like it was getting stuck and I had to jerk it to be able to switch gears. Once I was able to switch the gear into drive and started driving the nutrual light began to flash and my car would not pick up speed. I later found out that my snap ring/wave spring had broke and the metal pieces went into the filter clogging it up and damaging the pipe causing me to need a new/rebuilt transmission. I was told that this is common for the Galants.

In hot weather the doors stick causing the outer door and inner panel to separate making it unable to be opened from outside nor inside. Have to keep pushing on door to make it unstuck before you can enter or get out. Large risk of being stuck inside car in heat.

This car has had a problem with the O2 sensors, fuel line, oil leaks, fuse and electrical shorts from the start. We have tried to fix the problems, but the repairs never lasted long. The brake line recently started leaking. Today we were in a wreck because the breaks went out. We were traveling at 35 mph and should have had time to stop. The car slid under a truck, and was totaled. We were never contacted about any recalls involving our car.

Air bags didn't come out when accident occurred, there is smoke coming from exhaust not something is eating the gas up there is leakage coming from engine, oil, and radiator (unknown areas).
Well shortly after buying the car,the drivers side rear window fell down in the door. Then a couple days ago the other rear window fell also. I'm not sure what happened, but the window wasn't even being used at the time it fell. So I don't know what part inside the door went bad,but I feel it should never have done that.
Heater core in 2003 Galant has gone out, which means no heat in vehicle. Quotes for repair are between 900-1300, labor being 5-6 hours. I was told this seems to be a common defect in the Galant. There was an identical vehicle at the repair shop with exact same problem. Further searching on the internet reveals that this is a common problem & should be considered a defect that Mitsubishi motors should consider investigating.
I purchased this vehicle in 2009. Shortly after my purchase the check engine light came and I have the code read, which indicated the issue was the egr valve which affects emissions. The mechanic initially soaked the valve which worked for a while, but the check engine came on again. Same code, same problem, however soaking would not solve the problem. Mitsubishi no longer manufacturers the part, so had to be purchased after market. Total cost almost $700. 00. Less than 1 year later, same problem, check light engine on, same code (p04 - I believe), another $700 and this time another mechanic told me Mitsubishi issued a service alert in 2010, which I am unable to find. The service alert supposedly stated the issue lies in the programming, that no one is able to get done. So for the 3rd time in 6 years I'm looking to replace the same part, same issue. 2nd issue: replacement keys have to programmed by the dealership. The cheapest I've found is $294 to the highest $399. 00. Ridiculous!!! have to spend the money, because if for some reason the key I use breaks car will not start. What a rip off.
The key casing seems to fall apart after a short while, my concern is if this happens while driving will it "kill" the entire system, has this been questioned before?.
I have a 2002 Mitsubishi Galant, the knob that controls the air temperature in the car used to make a clicking noise when being turned from cold to hot & vice versa, it stopped making that noise and now I no longer have heat. I have searched the internet high & low and have found lots of complaints that this is a well known problem for these cars and that it is the heater control motor. I was told to file a complaint about the problem.

Heater does not blow warm air anymore. Was told by dealer that this is a common problem, but should not be for the age of the vehicle. Will cost about $300 to fix. Also air always comes through the vents even in off position. Was told by dealer that this is another common problem.
I purchased my 2002 Galant in August 05. When I first turned the dial to heat, it made a "clicking" sound and then started blowing warm air. I noticed that every time I turned the heating/cooling dial it made the "clicking" sound. In April 2006, the "clicking" sound quit and so did the heat. I took the car to a mechanic and was told it was the heater core. I purchased a heater core from the nearest Mitsubishi dealer approximately 50 miles away only for the clicking sound to come back once and to find out the heater core is not the problem. The dealer will not take the $200. Part back saying Mitsubishi will not accept it. I have talked to several others that own 2002 Galants who have the same "clicking" sound. Corporate Mitsubishi was not any help in this situation.

Paint flaw ,the clear coat is coming off. It has spread all over the car. My whole car looks as if it is camoflouge. I was wondering if anyone else has complained of this happening to their black Galant. My local dealer says that there is no recall on the paint. I think it should be. A paint job should last longer than4 years. The car had a little spot on it when I bought it, but it spread over the whole thing in less than a year. Sounds like a defect to me.
Driver side foot rest loose. Yh.
