Instrument panel lights don't come on. Fuses all ok, switches ok, reostat ok. Could be bulbs behind instrument panel - or circuit board. Can't drive at night -can't see the instrument panel. Interior lights ok. Blinker lights ok but won't turn off after making turn. Can't get information from Mitsubishi on what it may be.

Matching recall Mitsubishi notice sr-99-003 and NHTSA 99v305001, our Galant has the busted turn signal problem. Mitsubishi claims our VIN is outside the range of defective units. Obviously, that's not the case, but they're not paying.

The consumer stated that while turning, the signals failed intermittently. Recall 99v305001 was issued. However, this vehicle was not included in the recall due to VIN. When the consumer used the turn signal, the high beam light would turn on and was difficult to turn off and the signal would not be indicated.
Nhtsa recall 99 v 305 011/manufacturer's recall 990wvd0097 concerning electrical harness: windshield wipers/ fog lamps, and turn signal are inoperative. Manufacturer was notified, and informed consumer that this vehicle was not covered undder recall due to VIN. Feel free to provide any further information.
