Brake Foundation Components problems of the 1999 Mitsubishi Mirage

Was driving 35mph & applied brakes which were going up & down. They failed to stop vehicle. Would shimmy or shake when making turns. Was going down hill, and went into a skid. Crossed double line to the left while trying to go right. Steering was uncontrollable. Another vehicle "t" boned the vehicle on passenger side. Air bags deployed. Vehicle was only 34 days old.

When applying brakes the pedal goes to the floor, causing extended stopping distance. Cause unknown. Vehicle steered to the right because of steering problem.

While driving on highwaywy suddenly approached a red light, applied brakes and the vehicle kept going on a flat surface. Brake pedal went straight to the floor. Went to a local mechanic and the brake boot was burned. They told consumer a chip flew out,and possibly started the fire.
