Power Train Problems of Mitsubishi Mirage

Every once in awhile when stopped at a stop sign or light and you hit the gas to go the car will do multiple jumps like manual transmission car. Very uncomfortable and worried that there is something wrong.

Mirage 2015 dl automatic trasmission cvt, the rubber on the driver's left side has a buzzing sound, the caliper was replaced. Cv axle was replaced. Left side by manufacturer's warranty. On that side of the left side and also has a wheel bearing problem. On the left side it is making a very huge humming noise and they do not want to give me a guarantee because they indicate that I am the second owner. Of the vehicle and therefore they only gave me a guarantee up to 30,000 miles I want to report that this is a vehicle defect.

So after my car at about 2,000 miles on it my front strut mounts gave out I had them inspected and was told that they were bad the car was practically brand new I was having a lot of noise coming from the front end and I noticed that my car took a lot longer to brake than it should. And I believe that this is a safety concern because it shouldn't be going out that soon and the increased breaking distance associated with it increases the risk of accidents. And the strut mounts should not be bad from that early on. Also another problem that my vehicle has had that I haven't gotten diagnosed yet is there is a popping sound coming from the transaxle where the axle goes into the transmission and a delay in acceleration sometimes and other times my car randomly jolts forward. And I have to explanation as to why. And the third problem that I've had from about the same mileage as my car randomly not turning on though not a safety concern unless you really need to get somewhere it still shouldn't have that problem with so little miles and it's never been in an accident. I just remembered one other thing my car rolls if the parking brake is not on which I feel like that is a safety concern it will roll about a good four or five inches and it is really sketchy and it does not have enough mileage on it to be doing this and I have never been in an accident it started doing this around the same time all these problems arose around about 2,000 miles on my car and I have to have my e-brake on just to feel comfortable to park it and I have a friend who also has a Mitsubishi and hers doesn't do that and I feel like it has something to do with the popping sound in the transmission area.

Tl- the contact owns a 2018 Mitsubishi Mirage. The contact stated that while driving at any speed, the vehicle shook and revved. There was no warning indicators. Impossible to reach manufacturer's advertised fuel mileage. No matter the weather, tire pressure, power to accessories, nothing. Absolutely impossible. I bought the car because of the mileage advertised by Mitsubishi, and I rarely get over 30mpg in mixed driving. Vehicle always has synthetic oil changed regularly, and is well maintained. Was advertised as 39mpg city and 41 highway.

The contact owns a 2015 Mitsubishi Mirage. While approaching a stop, the vehicle felt as though it lunged forward and jerked violently. There were no warning indicators illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a dealer, but was not diagnosed. There was concern that the low reverse brake could re-engage. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. This car is a lemon I owe 16000. For a car that values 6000. Ally financial is a rip off the starter button in the cold the car does not start 2 winters now. Smell of sulfur under hood. Guy changed filter. Car comes out of drive on incline in reverse car grabs and lets loose rolls foward. Heavy rain leaked inside. This car is a nightmare. I want my money back. Very dangerous. Recalls air bags dont deploy wires corroding please refund our money and take this car back off the market. The little that were purchased. We should have gotten paid to trial run this model. Cant trade it in nobody wants it not even Mitsubishi . Complained to lemon law and attorney general. I also almost got rear ended twice due to excelleration pull back on eco. I suffer from panic attacks this car is not safe dosent anybody care ? also foot can get lodged between brake and gas pedal please take this car off the market and save our lives. Also the dashboard lit up a wrench not to drve while lit the closest dealership albany.

I've had problems with the car from day one. It has always used oil, having to add more oil all the time even though I due an oil change on regular basis. This has caused me to run low on oil, and the oil does not come on until as the mechanics say "its bone dry". The air condition belt squeaked from day one, then just quit working. The water pump has now went out twice!!! the first time the thermostat also was not working, which caused me to have a major mechanical bill. . . No warning while out of state!!! the windshield has always fogged up no matter what you do to eliminate it, which has caused me near collisions numerous times. The windows soon became off track for no apparent reason and now leak water. Ball joints have been replaced. This car basically was a lemon. I purchased this car brand new, my first new car and my last from Mitsubishi.

Overhead dome light and srs light come on. Gas guage fails to work properly, not showing correct amount of fuel. Vehicle wanders unexpectedly carbon build up causes vehicle to stall. Speedometer shows different speed than actually doing; wheels vibrates; was told tires cupping.
