Transmission Noise Problems of Mitsubishi Mirage

Tl-the contact owns a 2014 Mitsubishi Mirage. The contact stated while driving from a complete stop the transmission failed to respond. The engine was turned off. Upon restarting, the transmission surged in a jerking motion. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer, who reprogrammed the continuously variable transmission. After the repair was performed the transmission emitted a loud banging noise. The vehicle had not been repaired for the most recent failure. The manufacturer was not notified of the problem. The approximate failure mileage was 1,100. Js.

After 2000 miles vehicle was making noise inside of engine, whistle noise. Service station attendant told consumer that transmission had woren out parts on vehicle. Mechhanic replaced. Racers/ shocks/" o, " rings and gasket. Consumer is still having the same problem.

My car is only three years old and has been serviced as suggested. All of a sudden my transmission goes out. The manufacturer is now telling me that I will need a new one. The car is not that old and in my opinion I do not feel that it should already be in need of an overhaul. My brakes are also beginning to fail. The brake pads and rotors have already been changed twice and now are beginning to grind again. After having it checked my a mechanic, he says I do not need new brake pads but they continue to make a grinding noise. No one knows what is causing this noise. I have contacted Mitsubishi's customer service line to inquire and they have been of no help. They referred me to you. Thank you very much for your time.
