One problem related to front suspension leaf spring has been reported for the 1998 Mitsubishi Montero. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Consumer states had vehicle checked by a dealer several times because of "clicking" noise. Dealer finally determined that vheicle had a broken leaf spring which could cause truck to lose control, while turning and flip over.
