Two problems related to steering have been reported for the 1997 Mitsubishi Montero Sport. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Crankshaft pulley bolt came loose causing loss of steering. Had to steer very hard manually to park car. Dangerous situation.
Steering terminal came off making the vehicle go in danger.
