Frame Rust Problems of Mitsubishi Montero Sport

I heard a noise while driving at low speeds while hitting bumps, when I stopped driving and looked under the vehicle I noticed the frame was rusted completely through to the other side, and especially bad where the rear differential bracket is attached to the frame, its so loose it doesn't look safe to drive.

Frame and undercarriage rot/rust. Was told by one shop about in 2013 that I had alot of rust on the frame when they replaced my rusted brake lines. . This week in October 2014 I had to replace a rusty fill pipe for my gas and the mechanic told me that I had major major rust on the frame and undercarriage and that a rear end collision of any kind could potentially total my car.
