I took my car to inspect a banging noise under the left rear of the auto. Upon ispection it was found that the frame of the car was rusted and rotted thru the entire frame . It was fractured in spots and parts rusted entirely away. It was found to be unsafe to drive. It can not be repaired. The machanic told me it is a defect in the metal. The car has never been in a flood and I don't live near sald water. The rest of the car is in good shape. The car is now undrivable.
