The contact owns a 2026 Mitsubishi Outlander sport. The contact stated that due to the position of the camera, the glare of the sun would obstruct the contact's vision which made it difficult for the contact to view any objects while in reverse(r). The dealer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that there are no recalls on the vehicle. Upon investigation, the contact linked the failure to NHTSA id number: 25v369000 (back over prevention); however, the contact's VIN was not included in the recall. The contact made multiple attempts to reach the manufacturer but his calls were never answered. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 15.
