The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the defrost panel needed to be removed. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 16v352000 (air bags); however, the parts to do the repair were unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was contacted, but there was no response. The failure mileage was 112,110.

Takata recall. The contact owns a 2007 Mitsubishi Raider. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign numbers: 15v313000 (air bags) and 16v352000 (air bags). The recall repairs were completed, but the air bag indicator illuminated after the vehicle was taken from the dealer. The dealer (viva Mitsubishi, 1145 magruder st, el paso, TX 79925, (915) 782-1600) refused to remedy the failure after the manufacturer instructed them to provide a solution. The failure mileage was not available. Parts distribution disconnect.
