Air Bag Problems of Mitsubishi Raider - part 1

Hi- we have been trying to get our Mitsubishi Raider 2006 recall for an exploding sharp metal pieces that can cause death fixed with zero help. We have been without a car for over one year due to being ignored by Mitsubishi corporate and our closest Mitsubishi cutter dealership. We live on an island in hawaii that does not have a dealership so car must be shipped to oahu to be repaired. Talked to manager at cutter Mitsubishi many times and she said it’s Mitsubishis problem to figure out. Mitsubishi corporate has been contacted at least 4 times with nobody contacting me back. Case worker bernadette has completely ignored my case. Called recall number and have filed 5 cases now with no response. I will have to file a lawsuit to get help. Dealer ("miami lakes auto-mall" in zip code 33014) never has parts available, I have been calling for over a year to set up an appointment to no avail. Should anything happen to me or any other person or any property destruction is incurred due to the lack of urgency set forth by the aforementioned dealer or Mitsubishi in fixing these recalls, me and my family will hold all within the dealer and Mitsubishi accountable/responsible.

When I get the truck we had a dealer in little rock ar. They closed about 3 years ago. I can not understand why they can not make armaments to fix the air bag in little rock ar and not have to drive to a different state.

I call for an appointment, dealer will not provide a vehicle for the 3 hr repair. I only needed a ride back to work while waiting on repair. Not like I wanted a vehicle to ride around in. I called the Mitsubishi hot line and was told it will be provided. If the service manager will call the regional manager it will be straightened out. I call the dealer back and past the same information. Waited two days for a response after being told they would call me back. I finally called them to hear the same story of not providing a ride for the three hour repair. If this is not going to happen, then why is it written in black and white, informing owners that it be provided. It appears to me they are misleading or lying to their customers, and do not care if their customers are inconvenienced. The dealership is in birmingham al. "serra Mitsubishi".

I recieve a recall almost a year ago went to the dealer they said they have no parts at the mounte they will call or notifie me at a later from this time no has call to sent a letter.

I received a safety recall notice for my 2009 Mitsubishi Raider. There is no longer a local Mitsubishi dealer in my area, the nearest dealer is over an hour and a half away. I called Mitsubishi motors to see if there was any way to authorize a local repair shop or dealership to make the repair. They refused to do so, and insisted that I drive to dealership in another state to have the repair made. This would take an entire day (1. 5 hours to get there, 1-2 hours for the repair, 1. 5 hours home = 5 hours). I can't afford to take a day off work and spend $50 on gas for a "free" repair. Mitsubishi customer service offered no alternative solutions. I am sure I am not the only person driving a Mitsubishi in augusta, GA and I am sure I am also not the only person who isn't going to drive all the way to columbia to have the repair made. If an airbag does go off and kills me or someone else, I guess Mitsubishi doesn't really care.
