Power Train Problems of Mitsubishi Raider

The contact owns a 2006 Mitsubishi Raider. The contact stated that while driving at low speeds through a residential area, the vehicle inadvertently lost motive power, prompting the contact to pull over to the shoulder of the roadway at the end of a cul-DE-sac and shift the vehicle into park. Upon attempting to exit the cul-DE-sac the contact stated that the vehicle failed to shift into reverse, after which the contact shifted the vehicle back into drive. Immediately upon shifting back into drive the vehicle aggressively accelerated independently, causing a brief loss of control of the vehicle. The contact was able to regain control of the vehicle and brought the vehicle to a complete stop and switch the vehicle off; deciding then to discontinue driving the vehicle. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was not towed to the dealer or an independent mechanic. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 147,000.

While driving my 2006 Mitsubishi Raider, I was leaving a customer’s home with a load on my truck. The first issue I encountered was that the truck struggled to exit the driveway. Then, I realized I couldn't shift into reverse. Shortly after, it seemed like the gas line or speed mechanism malfunctioned. Suddenly, the truck accelerated uncontrollably, going full speed straight into a house.
