Air Bag Not Deploy problems of the 1996 Nissan 200SX

Rearend collision with 2000 Dodge p/u. Injuries include concussion, facial and chest bruises, three broken bones on right foot. Air bags did not deploy.

Air bag light flashes. Dealer says air bag will not deploy and computer module is bad with a replacement cost to us (the owner) of $600. There is no explanation why this would go bad. Dealer says they sometimes go bad. This is a safety issue and we believe that it should be repaired at no cost to the consumer.

Dual airbags did not deploy upon frontal impact, vehicle rearended another vehicle pulling out of where parked with no lights on.
