This car has been nothing but a diaster for us since we drove it off the lot on March 18, 1996. Within the first six months of owning the car the water pump blew up while we were driving it, then the car kept locking up while driving it about four times and all times we kept bringing it back to the Nissan dealer. We asked to give the car back cause it was a lemon to us but they did not accept and we have had major problems with this car ever since. This car is a piece of junk, it is in good condition by looking at it you would think it was new. To many mechanical problems. I will never in my life by another Nissan. We still own it and would like to get rid of it. We had to refinace it cause the payments for it was toooo high. I wish we could be reimbursed. Everyone we know even knows the trouble we have had with this car. I tried calling the original place where we bought it to tell them all the problems and no one never called me back. It has been hectic with this car. It has been sitting inour driveway for the past seven months. Is there anyway you can help us??? the engine went out one day when my husband went out to go to work one day. We have had to replace the waterpump three times, the ac compressor went out too early and had to get disconnected cause it cost too much to get fixed. This car is a heart ache and we can't afford to get anymore work done to it. Now it needs shocks. It is one thing after another. I can get proof from friends and family stating that we have spent most of our time getting this car fixed than driving it. We have had to get loans to get it fixed and can't afford it no more.
Since the second time the clutch cable was broke till now, the car still sit in the garage of ellis brooks(dealer). The dealer and manufacture can not find any replacement parts(#30770-9b410). And they refuse to give any rental car. I tried to contact the manufacture and dealer many times, but still can not fix this problem. Could it be a lemon car?.

When the car was assembled at the manufacturer, the air comprosser was bolted down to tightly. We had purchased the car in Nov. 1998 and when summer of 1999 rolled around the air conditioner would not cool. The dealer filled the unit with freon and it held for the summer by summer of 2000 the freon had leaked out again. This time they charged us to refill the unit but put a die to see about a leak, what they found was when it was built, the screw at the top was tightened down too tight and there was a small leak allowing the freon to escape. Now instead of standing behind the part and the labor they only are willing to provide the part. It was the manufacturer labor that made the part defective. Please help.
1. When I drove @ the speed of 55, the wheel still shift to the right. 2. Ellis brooks(dealer) replaced the new cable on 01/2000, two weeks later I want on vacation for 5 weeks, the car haven't drive then. About 2 weeks after I came back from vacation, I start to feel the clutch loose again. Then about 3 weeks later the clutch cable had broken again. From there I changed new clutch(dealer suggest to replace clutch), but now the car still in the dealer garage waiting for the cable, it is been 3 weeks. The dealer and manufacture claim can't find the new clutch cable yet. And they don't want to provide car rental.
