My 350z has a problem with the gas gauge when its below the 1/4 at start it will display no gas but the dte will display 75-90 miles left. Don't understand this problem has seen a lot of forms but no recall yet or dealers don't know what to do. Have ran out of gas a lot of times. Thank god never on the freeway or on a busy street. Nissan has to know about this its affecting a lot of z owner. And its dangerous.
The fuel gauge en the speedoometer does not tell the correct amount of gas in the car. It says there is fuel when the care is actually empty causing me to get out of gas for several times. I took it to the dealership and they told me the only way to repare it is to change the whole speedometer, and that the cost of it is almost a $1,000. 00. This is a lot of trouble for me because I have to fill up the car every 2 to 3 days so the car doesn,t leave me with out fuel.
