The fuel gauge does't accurately reflect the amount of gasoline in the fuel tank. Examples include when the fuel tank is filled to the point of overflowing, the fuel gauge randomly reports, 3/4, 1/2 1/4 and sometimes empty. The fuel gague randomly reports different fuel levels each time the ignition is turned on.
