1 Owners/service Manual problem of the 2007 Nissan 350Z

Failure Date: 04/13/2015

The car is not safe to drive due to the clutch being faulty. It loses pressure every now and then, and I have to pick up the clutch with my foot manually off the floor. This is very dangerous and should be recalled on all 2007 and 2008 350z's. Nissan changed the clutch slave cylinder and master clutch cylinders from 2007 to 2008, hence only these model years have this problem. People have complained numerous times and they did recall a clutch slave cylinder but even after they did that, it has the same problem. If you replace a part with the same defective part it will break down again and again. . . I've calculated how much it would cost to get a new clutch and replace all the defective parts with stronger parts that people have used and reviewed over a long period of time. It will cost me about $2000 just to get the clutch parts and installation. This is ridiculous for something that has such an important job in a car. If the clutch pedal loses pressure or goes down and doesnt come back up, you can get in a serious accident or even worse, death. Please help us 350z owners and ensure that the manufacturer provides safety in these vehicles. .

2 Owners/service Manual problem of the 2005 Nissan 350Z

Failure Date: 02/08/2014

I had avital 5303l remote starter/security system installed on my car on 2/8/14 by mobile sound and alarm in pennsauken NJ. When I got home I turned off my car and placed the car in 1st gear (manual transmission) and pulled up the brake. I stepped out of the car and shut the door and hit the start button on the new remote control and the car drove up the curb and crash into the wood beam that holds my desk up in my condo complex and crash into the left wall on the patio of the lower unit. I tried to catch up to the car and once I got the driver door and tried to open it the car stopped. When the car stopped my right foot was trapped under the driver side rear wheel. A passing neighbor had to get into the car start it up and put it in reverse to get my foot from underneath the car. I called the police and had a police report created and reported the incident to my insurance. My foot was not injured. On 2/11/13 I took the car to a very large lot and turned the car off and put the car in 1st gear. I started the car again using the remote starter control and car drove away. I hit the remote start control again and the car came to a stop.

Failure Date: 10/21/2011

On 2004 Nissan 350z the convertible top will stick in the half open half closed position. Nissan will not help fix this costly repair $2200-$3000. The motors that control the top called the (fifth bow motor) will go out without notice. No way to manually close the top. Many others on Nissan forum site have reported this same issue. I paid Nissan to fix this problem cost me $2800. 00. Now it is doing the same thing less than 3 years later. (I can supply the part number is needed).
