One problem related to other fuel system tank filling/charging has been reported for the 1999 Nissan Altima. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Fuel filler problem: the vehicle (1999 Nissan Altima) will only take a small amount of fuel at a time (length of filler neck) and then pump shuts off as the fuel overflows and drains into tank. It is also impossible to completely fill the tank; it only wants to holds approximately 3/4 of its capacity. This is not only annoying, but a safety concern because fuel spills onto the vehicle and ground since there is no fuel filler butterfly valve at the top of the neck.
