I just want to let someone know that I travel back in forth to work every week and there were major bumps in the road and it tore up my tires. I pay a lot of money for my tires and I had to replace them which costs me alot of money and not only that my rims are bent up . The air started coming out the tires which meant the rim was bent and there was a lot of repair that needed to be done. I had to repair this out of my money and I don' t have extra money to spend out like that.
1. Vehicle's exhaust pipe hanger caught bag of debris from the road and felt like the car was falling apart in the rear. Debris was removed by discount tires after purchasing new wheels and tires. 2. Service engine warning light is on. Engine has reduced power and it causes the engine to stop running without warning during operation, with vibrating noises. Nissan states that the cam sensor with crank sensor is faulty and should be replaced. Apparently it is under recall and they want us to pay for a recalled item. 3. Engine long block was replaced on 2/14/06 because of catastrophic engine failure, and the engine continues to have problems with vibrating and sluggishness. 4. Rear engine mount replaced in 11/03/04 as recommended. Now, passenger upper mount was recommended to be changed on 3/14/08. 5. Air conditioning is blowing hot air and we replaced air conditioning high side compressor and oil recharged system in 6/01/07, as recommended. As of today 3/30/08 air conditioning is blowing hot air again. We purchased new wheels, tires and brakes because of the vibration in the car and steering column with low sounding noise. We have consistently taken our car in for maintenance, recalls and additional mechanical problems with very minimal resolutions. Thank you.

I have a 2002 Nissan, Altima that came with continential tires. The tires size is 200/65-16's. They have 28k wear on them . I took the car to the dealer because I noticed that my car was pulling to the right. After an alignment, the car is pulling to the left. Now the dealer is telling me that its my tires, that I need to replace the 2 front tires because of wear. This seems out of line to me because I have never had tires wear to the point that they need to be replace to put my car in alignment. I believe these tires should wear (they get normal highway and neighborhood use) for at least 45k-50k before needing to be replaced. What is wrong with this picture?.
The vehicle's tires hydroplane frequently on wet surfaces. The dealer states that the tread was not designed to disburse water.
My right front bridgestone turanza el42 (p205/65r16) tire came off the rim as a whole while driving northbound on the garden state parkway. My car violently turned right and began heading southbound against oncoming traffic, the right side of my car then smashed into the guardrail at 70 mph and spun into the local traffic lanes on the otherside of the highway.
