Accelerator Pedal problems of the 2014 Nissan Altima

The contact owned a 2014 Nissan Altima. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the vehicle stalled. The accelerator pedal was applied but the vehicle hesitated and was slow to respond and continued to jerk. The rpm reeved up to high and dropped to low. There were no warning indicator lights illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer who informed them that the warranty coverage was denied due to transmission fluid not being replaced. The vehicle was diagnosed and needed a transmission replacement. The vehicle was repaired but the contact sold the vehicle. The manufacturer was not contacted. The approximate failure mileage was 116,000.
