Every time I put the breaks on or go over any kind of speed bump, it bounces and sounds like warn out bed springs. Out of nowhere the volume on my radio will turn up extremely loud. Its happened more than a handful of times while driving and it scared me to the point of having to pull over to gather myself. Some days it doesn’t work at all. The past 3 months, my front passenger window gets stuck and won’t go up without me turning the car off then back on and still at times won’t work. I’ve had no choice but to leave the window down more than enough times and putting plastic over it until it decides to work again. The engine shakes and it feels like the transmission is about to give.

The airbag system failed to deploy during a collision. The vehicle is currently in not my possession. The airbag control module, sensors, and airbags themselves can be inspected to determine the cause of non-deployment. 2. How was your safety or the safety of others put at risk? my safety was put at significant risk because the airbags did not deploy during the impact. This increased the potential for serious injury to the driver and passengers during the crash, as the airbags are a critical part of the vehicle’s safety system designed to prevent head and chest injuries. 3. Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center? not yet. The vehicle has not been inspected by my insurance and considered totaled. 4. Has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives, or others? a police report was filed for the accident, and my insurance company has been notified. The vehicle has been inspected by insurance, but both parties have been informed of the issue and an inspection has been taken place 5. Were there any warning lamps, messages, or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure, and when did they first appear? no warning lights or airbag system messages appeared prior to the crash. The airbag light on the dashboard was functioning normally before the accident, and there were no indications of a malfunction with the safety restraint system.
Didn't know what the list this one but at a certain speed on the highway the hood latch comes loose unlocks, and my backup camera all of a sudden doesn't always work, sometimes the screen is completely black. . . Also the sensor that tells you that a car is too close to you keeps turning itself off and then when you check the radar sensor to make sure that it's clear of debris there's no debris but yet this thing just keeps turning itself off while you're on the highway or local road. . . I will list when the first problem started happening and then we know when the other ones start happening consecutively afterwards. . Electrical issue front passenger door will not open automatically putting my passenger at risk.

I changed the air mass flow sensor and it’s still showing the check engine light on my dash board and giving me the same code after replacing it brand new. My brakes sound horrible after replacing both sets of brakes, front and back. The foward collision warning sensor did not respond in a timely matter, resulting in a minor fender bender.
Since purchasing my car in 1-2022, brand new, my car will unpredictably brake. Recently while driving with no cars in front of me, my car again braked and I was almost rear ended. I did experience minor whiplash as it was a sudden stop. This has happened on surface streets as well as when going down into a parking structure. Additionally my sensors will randomly state that there are obstructions in the road when there are none. I have taken my car into first Nissan with these issues from when I first drove my car off their lot. First Nissan employees are great, but I believe my car has a defect that significantly concerns me about my safety when driving this car. I am a loyal Nissan car owner as I had my previous Altima for about 15 years. . With no problems. How will Nissan rectify this safety issue??.

Forward crash detection aeb system warning light goes on after a short time driving with a beep sound and stays on until the car is shut off. This happens every time I drive. Everything is clean- no obstructions to the sensor. Probable faulty sensor or bracket. Went to the dealer who said they could not recreate the situation and did nothing. I have been reading that this is not an uncommon problem with Nissans and feel there needs to be a recall.
Car phantom brakes. There are multiple cases of it online where people are complaining when the front emergency brake warning light comes up at times and the car brakes automatically in empty highways. This happens fairly often.
On 6/5/2024 I purchased a vehicle from lithia Dodge in twin falls idaho. On July 6th 2024 my wife and I we're driving through walmart parking lot and the car just up and died. I called the car dealership to try and get a hold of the salesman that sold it to me or the finance manager and continue to have issues getting hold of someone, well in the process of trying to get a hold of someone one of the times that I called the salesman that answered the phone laughed at me when I told him the car had died on us and asked me how did it die. I took the car back to the dealership and told him to either fix it or keep it, they kept it to have the service department look at it. I received a call from the service department saying that the car was done and that they had hooked up their computer to it and nothing came up as having issues with the car or within the car, and they also asked me to go to the dealership and take a test drive with one of the service techs and try to make the car die no one can make a car up and die. On the same day I reported the car dying on us I also reported that the transmission had been slipping and they stated that when they drove it they didn't have any issues with the slipping or anything and the service manager of the service department kept giving me the runaround or an excuse and just didn't plainly want to look at it or even talk about it anymore. I also complained to them about the car not being serviced before they put it on the or selling it to us and that none of the filters had been changed on it. They told me that the oil and filters have been changed which it hadn't even after I took it back to them, after calling the service department and complaining about this they just told me that it had been done and that they need to prior authorization from the sales department to replace the air filter and cabin filter. I feel like they knew this car was a lemon and was just doing what they could to get rid of it.
I was driving on the freeway and without warning my car reduced speed. Then there was a warning bell that showed engine malfunction power reduced. Then the check engine light came and my rear and front warning indicator came on.
This has been happening multiple times since December 25th, 2023. Presently, it's in the shop for the 6th time. This orange light comes on and then right after the vehicle just stops or slows down. Nothing is in front of or behind me. It's random. . . Happens at night or anytime during the day and it stops itself while driving. It has been taken to the dealership 6 times since December and the problem has not been remedied. It is scary getting into the vehicle every time because I wonder, will it happen today? and what if someone is behind me? that could cause a major accident with injuries.
I purchased the 2019 Nissan Altima March 22,2024 for the last week the car will start when it wants , the collision sign on the dash comes on and states it’s blocked , the car will stop or shut off while driving ( on the highway with my two children ) the car stoped & a big truck almost ran in the back of me , the seat belt on the right side doesn’t work . Theirs 4 other problems with the car the could get me and my children killed I have documents from autozone about my engine that’s not good . ( and the computer I put on to check the car says stop and repair car immediately) . I have pictures of that also .
I can be driving and all of a sudden the collision symbol starts flashing,it has done it at least ten times.
Front crash warning malfunction on my dash.
While driving, the auto spontaneously without warning has a near catastrophic failure of all systems (e. G. Anti-lock brakes, emissions, control, automatic windows etc. ) all warning icon lights are on the driver’s front video are displayed while a central scrolling message reports all the major systems malfunctioning (as mentioned above). The auto immediately decelerates and now can no longer go faster than 20 mph. This has twice caused the car behind me to nearly read end me. When pressing on the gas pedal (which feels like pushing down on mashed potatoes) you can not affect acceleration. At any pressure the car accelerates on its own very slowly until it reaches maximum speed. It takes about 30 – 45 seconds to go from 0-20 mph. According to invoice of the repairs the “channel can gateway internal” is faulty. Yet they have failed three times to fix it. This car has been out of service up to this date 57 days and is once again back at the service department. The auto has malfunctioned identically on Dec. 19. 2023, Dec. 27, 2023, Feb. 2, 2024 and March 8, 2024.

When traveling in a rental from sfo to concord CA, on the bay bridge at 9 am on the 26 of September 2023, just as I entered the underpass section near treasure island, the front sensor malfunctioned and auto braked from 47 mph to 28, generated audible, tactile, and visual alarms, even though the car in front was not decelerating (auto lights, tail lights in from of me as the car went into a dark section of road may have been misinterpreted). I was almost crashed into. Scariest experience in 37 years of driving. No over ride.
Car constantly is breaking saying there are cars in front of me when there are not, especially going under bridges. The light flashes 90% of the time warning me. I have cleaned off the sensor and it still does it and brakes me when I should not be braking.
I've taken my car for repair service 4 times due to a malfunction warning and front driving aids off warning. They replaced speed sensor as well as cv axle as well as a hub and bearing and it still is not driving right and has almost caused me accidents with my children in the car to where I pulled over and cried I was scared to continue driving. They cannot figure out the problem.
On two separate occasions, during intermittent weather changes, my vehicle has giving me notice of forward warning collision being disabled or has flashed on my dashboard. Same goes with my rear collision warnings. My car has also force-brake while driving under 30 mph. I don't know if there is a safety issue with the alignment of the radars in the newer models but its caused a fear of driving my family in that car.
My airbag light recently came on after driving through some standing water and I have tried filing through my insurance company and they have stated that due to the fact that water wasnt submerged inside my car, it was due to the age of my vehicle (which is only 5 years old). I am concerned about this obviously as it is my driver side airbag. They are trying to tell me in insurance that it is a Nissan issue so I’m wondering if anything can be done so that I can feel safe to drive my vehicle.
I was driving on the interstate in a construction zone and begin reducing speed from about 62 mph after noticing brake lights from cars in the far distance. As the car start to reduce speed, I begin to apply the brakes as I'm approaching the stopped traffic and instead of stopping my car kept going. I pressed the brakes harder, and the car began to slide. After sliding about 9-10 car lengths, I was stopped by rear ending the vehicle in front of me. There was an error message on the dash "chassis control system error see owner's manual" that appeared on the dash. I was struck in the back by a Toyota 4runner resulting in my car being totaled.
The forward collision warning light comes on saying their is a malfunction. It stays on for a couple of days, and then it goes away and comes back again a couple of days later. I had my sister husband hook up a diagnostic scanner on the car, and he said that it displayed no error codes for the problem. I believe this should be a safety recall because I noticed a lot of people driving the 2020 Nissan Altima have the same problem as me.
Ecm is causing my car to stay in a constant malfunction state. The problem began in April 2023 and at first was intermittent. Now it stays in limp mode. The collision and traction control indicators stay on, as well as the check engine light. Two sensor codes came up and those were changed, but now the malfunction will not allow the codes to be cleared. This puts myself, passengers, and everyone else on the road in danger because when it malfunctions, it brakes without warning. Not to mention the amount of gas the car is using. The vehicle was inspected by a mechanic who stated it was the ecm causing it. This needs to be recalled.
Every time I get in my car a start to drive either forward of backing up my car dings and a message pops up ont the display that says "warning ?? malfunction" and shows the car crash button. I have not been in any accidents and it randomly started happening a few days ago. Now I worry that my car may not sensor any objects in my path or that it could trigger my automatic break to kick in creating an accident. I have also researched online and found others who have experienced the same thing but there is no open recall on my vehicle.
During a code scan on the vehicle, the intelligent driver assistance system showed to refer to oem repair manual for code description repair. The next day the vehicle crashed at 15 mph due to loss of control. Tie rod broke causing vehicle to crash and tire was detached. Vehicle is available to inspect. No warning lamps or message other then scan results .
While I was driving my power steering went out completely on the interstate right when I went to turn almost causing an accident where I could have been severely injured or injured others around me. Prior to the failure my front vehicle obstruction light has been coming on and off multiple times while driving but other than that no warning signs of power steering going out.
Crash malfunction is randomly coming on while driving. It comes on even when there is no vehicle in front of you. It comes on at random speeds from 2 to 40 mph. I feel that if there was a warning, it may not come on. Problem has been going vehicle is being inspected by Nissan today however the technician cannot duplicate the issue since it is random. It has come on 12 times in the past 15 days.
When first purchased car headlights on passenger side did t work. They had to change the computer system. Had car whole week to complete. Then had to straighten the hood because it was off track. Now they states I have to get axle gears dropped and greased. Only had car 3 months and warranty doesn’t covers anything. States I need fuel induction and injection serviced.
The front radar distance sensor becomes blocked and unavailable while driving. This happens every time I drive the car. Several times the warning message came on and the car tried to briefly brake. I took my car into the Nissan dealership and they confirmed the sensor has failed and recommends replacement. This is a known issue with several models of Nissan cars per NHTSA ntb19-033a. This has been happening in my car for about two weeks. I took it in to the dealership as soon as I could after noticing the problem. I believe my car was built at the end of 2018 and has this faulty sensor reference in NHTSA ntb19-033a or clearly they have not rectified the problem fully. I think 2019 vehicles should be added to the recall.
The problem with the c17f1 cvt judder when pressing the gas the car would not go. So you turn car off. Then restart car pressing gas all the way down, and the car jumps forward and luckily doesn’t hit car in front of you. Nissan is well aware of cvt transmission problems on 2011 and 2015 Altima’s in which now it costs me $5400. 00 to replace this transmission. Nissan should of advertised this car as lemon transmission car because you are almost guaranteed to have the transmission replaced. My car has 102 thousand miles and I’m forced to pay $5400. 00 for this defected transmission that Nissan was well aware of. I hate this car that I have paid so much money for. On top of list price plus this repair that I will never get my money back costs over 27000 dollars. I’m retired and Nissan sold me a ?? lemon.

Care is giving error of "engine malfunction reduced speed, service soon" with engine, traction and collision lights activating at the same time. Car than slows down and has shut off. This error happens while driving or just by having it on. Also while stereo, buletooth or carplay is on the volume will decrease on its own unable to turn up volume with knob. This has been happening since I bought the care in 2021.
Car continually goes into malfunction mode. It goes away when the car is turned off and re started. It throws a code for mass air flow sensor. Have replaced mass air flow sensor three times. No dealership or mechanic can find an issue. Sometimes, the collision warning goes off for no reason causing panic. This has been going on for a year. Began March 2022.
Hood flew opened while driving.

When braking there is a popping noise coming from the front of the car. And the foward braking light comes on for 5-10 mins of driving time then goes off.
