general problems of the 2004 Nissan Armada

The liftgate will not open.

I was on the freeway going 60 mph when this happened . Having problems with the brake booster brake pedal goes all the way to the floor and doesn't wanna break on time also makes a weird noises this only happens when the brake light is on I have to turn off the vehicle and start again and then it won't do it for a while and then after a while it happen again so scary.

On sudden brake n battery sign comes up n stop brake stops workinbrg . . Once restart all signs on dashboard disappear and everything works fine. . Thn again after driving couple of mins or miles brakes n accelerator-stops working. . N took to Nissan dealer they couldn't find anything wrong but it happened with lots of people who has Nissan pathfinder Armada le so they should take this issue seriously cz anything can happen to anyone. . Thanks god we got saved we was in a highway.

Rear ended by another car.

Brakes, at about 65mph car shakes violently, tv in the middle sounds like its falling out, engine turning over but not starting.

Bought a 2004 Nissan Armada 08/08/2016 the second day I had to go to the dealers and pay close to 4xx to have a computer hooked up to it because my brake light came on and didnt have any brakes, it then happened the second week of owning the vehicle, called Nissan north America at first I was told I would be reimbursed and my problem fixed then was told its out of warranty. Regardless it was not my fault Nissan does not no how to make vehicle or fix there fauly problems. Then today I went out to start my truck and it will turn over all day long but will not start, I have a 2 year old special needs child and was heading to get his medication which can be very serious if hes without, contacted nna yet again with no luck. On top of the list of other problems iv had with this vehicle.

It had a recall when I went to the Nissan they told me it was already got that service in other dealer by the first owner. I told them the vehicle was doing the same that the recall said and that the Nissan told me to go there. So they told me they cant help me because my truck already got the service. So now im afraid to use it because is dangerous and nobody know how to help me and also the scanner doesn't give us any trouble code. It also have a problem with the brake its look like electric problem when I shut down the engine and start it again the problem is gone. About the other problem is the same signals that say the recall. At first I thought was the fuel pump but I realize it have to happen frequently and isnt, them I realize it have to be electric problem bc that happen first them the break issue so im pretty sure is electrical or the SUV computer.

Unable to open rear tailgate or glass,opening glass later first worked for a few times now both inoperable,safety concern of being trapped in rear of vehicle.

I was driving on the freeway with my family at approx. 70 mph, when the engine shut down instantaneously. This was a very potentially dangerous situation, with cars going by all around us at 70+ mph. After we stopped, I tried starting the engine again a number of times, but there was nothing. The tow truck operator came 10 minutes later, & he said try it one more time. I did, & it started immediately, & I was able to drive off the freeway. I drove it on surface streets to get home from there, & then it died one more time. However, this time it started up again & we reached home. I took it too a very experienced mechanic I use, & he could find nothing. I took it to the Nissan dealer,, & they could find nothing. This vehicle is meticulously maintained. I have been driving the vehicle for 2 weeks, & nothing has happened. I drive it on the freeway, but in the slow lane & without my family in the car.

The rear door on my 2004 Nissan Armada has failed and is keeping me locked out of the vehicle. The problem has been traced to be a faulty door lock actuator, which fails to travel far enough in order to allow the door lock mechanism to open the door. The actuator part information is as follows: 905507s000 0892068-a b/d actr 03 09 26. A google search of this problem on the internet will show anyone that this problem is rampant on all Nissan Armada vehicles, all years, and therefore must be recalled as a safety defect. With this condition, if there was ever a vehicle accident and/or fire, the occupants located inside the vehicle at the back seats would not be allowed to get out of the vehicle with the assistance of others located outside of the vehicle. Under this situation, the passenger/occupants are permanently locked inside of the vehicle. Any accident leading to a vehicle fire, and the occupant would burn to death.
