The side airbags deployed without any incident of an accident or crash. There was no accident-nothing was but or bumped just driving 35 mph and the side airbags deployed fully and the seat belts on the driver and passenger side tightened to the point of restricted breathing. The seatbelts no lomger can be used as they should. They do not extend out fully. And the airbag sensor light is constantly. Before the deployment of the side airbags the brakes would grind to the point of needing to pull over to pump the brakes in order for them to function again properly. This would happen every 100 miles or so.
Brakes, at about 65mph car shakes violently, tv in the middle sounds like its falling out, engine turning over but not starting.
Seat belts do not retract properly, get caught in door and tighten up with any movement, even looking left to right at opposing traffic. It is frequently necessary to un-hook seat belt and adjust which could potentially result in a dangerous event. Nissan refuses to replace seat belts when this safety issue was brought to their attention. The seat belts have been recalled only on certain VIN numbers - since mine is not included they will not correct.
Fuel gauge not working correctly leaving you stranded while reading 1/4 tank of gas, brakes fail forcing you to pull over and turn off truck pull out key then restart, seat belts do not retract getting caught in door when closing.
Bought new Armada in November 2004. It has been at the service center at bankston lewisville twice now. Repeat problem with brake failure and steering wheel shaking. Unibody creaks all the time. 2nd row seat belt failed twice, which threw my baby and her car seat into the back of the driver's seat!!! dash and consoles rattle all the time. Wind noise is horrible! dealer said they will work on it. I called Nissan consumer affairs and are waiting for a response from a regional specialist.
- I experienced brake judder at 200 miles - dash rattle first week of ownership - 3rd row center seat belt failed at approx 3 months of ownership - low tire pressure light and warning come on at temperatures below 15 deg f - at 13 deg f, approx 4,500 miles, car surged, stalled and would not accelerate and travel over 45 mph.
