The contact owns a 2005 Nissan Armada. The contact stated that the fuel gauge inaccurately displayed the fuel level in the tank while the fuel tank was empty; causing the vehicle to stall. The contact refueled the vehicle and was able to restart the vehicle. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired by an independent mechanic or dealer. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and a case was opened. The manufacturer informed the contact that there was no recall associated with the VIN. The contact related the failure to NHTSA campaign number: 10v074000 (fuel system, other) however, the VIN was not included in the recall. The failure mileage was approximately 192,000.

Is giving a delta stroke sensor c1179 and also suddenly the brake lights turns on and can't use the brakes and I have to turn it off and on again and it will go away but it happens even if I am on the highway and it worries me. Please let me know what is this code because nobody seems to know. This has happened a couple of times.
The fuel shows that I have a quarter of a tank or a bit more left and the number mileage on the screen shows the same. My vehicle randomly stops without warning. This has happened 3 times. I had the vehicle repaired last year for the same reason and here I am again. I see there is a recall and my car was not included. I called Nissan and the representative told me told contact NHTSA to be more effective. . . . . He acknowledged the problem with the trucks. I feel as though it is a definite safety hazard. We were lucky this time. My air bag light will not shut off either and he mentioned this was another recall. . Why did this VIN miss the recalls. It clearly has those issues. They want me to go to a dealer and I cannot afford to do that. The dealers are more expensive. Hopefully there is assistance. There is a rattle with the a/c fan. I don't know what is going on with that however I have an odor from it as well. Again I am bringing it back to the mechanic however the tow company gave me the recall info and I don't understand how this truck was missed. Can you help with the recall for us. Recall #'s 10v51700,10v074000,10v349000. Our thanks.
The windows and locks and truck stop working periodically sometimes for days. Have replace the manifold/pass catylcataylic converter replacement 920$$ and was told the drivers side would soon follow at 920$ also. Ridiculous. Seatbelt stays on.
I was driving and my vehicle cut off. I attempted to restart the vehicle multiple times, but it did not start. I took it to my local Nissan dealership and they suggested that I replace the camshaft sensor. I agreed to this service as well as purchased a battery and had a seal replaced. The vehicle drove well for about a week. Approximately a week later it cut off again. I returned to the dealer and they completed an idle relearn on the truck. It was fine for about a month, but has resumed cutting off which has resulted in it stalling in traffic and leaving my family stranded while we attempt to troubleshoot. It was taken to the dealer again on 7/18 due to it breaking down. When it arrived at the shop it did not turn on initially, but they were able to start it. It was there until 7/21 during which time I agreed to have their shop foreman drive it home. They claim that it never cut off during the time that they had it. They were unable to provide a reason for the issue, stating that the truck has to break down for them to troubleshoot due to the computer not receiving a code from the vehicle. They suggested that I leave it with them until it happens again, which would be fine if it wasn't my only source of transportation. This issue is definitely a safety issue as the vehicle could cut off at any time and lead to a fatal vehicle accident. How is it possible that no solution can be provided until the vehicle is completely disabled?.
Brake, vdc and slip lights came on. Use brake pedal, metallic spring noise came from firewall infront of driver. Minimal braking power.
While driving, the brake light came on and when pressing the pedal it did not break as usual and it took much longer to stop and the pedal would vibrate and the car made a grinding noise. We pulled over and turned the engine off and on and then it worked. We have had this problem happen several times before but it is happening more often, it happened three times in the past week, to the point that we are afraid to drive it since this might cause an accident.
Driving on the interstate I started to hear a metal on metal squealing noise. My parking brake light came on and I pulled off to the side thinking I had forgotten to depress the brake. However, it didn't work. After driving again I couldn't use the brakes so I called the tow and went to the Nissan dealership I was using before. I was told I needed a brake booster replacement. This was almost $1000! I asked if it would fix the issue. I was told yes and that I needed to fix it before it caused a fatality. Of course this scared me and I told them to fix whatever was needed. Twenty-two hundred dollars later and a few months and I'm looking at the same issue happening again. When I notified Nissan they have been too "busy" and said to schedule an appointment. Um, excuse me I can't drive my car! the nonchalant attitude, coupled with the subpar resolution, has me furious. I don't know what to say or think. I feel helpless. This is my only vehicle, it's completely paid off and I don't have room to get another one. I'm with the other posts here that Nissan should value our patronage and look into a fix for this. If that happens to be a replacement vehicle then so be it. But, something needs to be done soon before someone gets hurt due to their negligence.
I have been to the Nissan dealership multiple times and complained about the loud exhaust noise and they said it was normal for this vehicle. There are thousands of reports of this exact problem online. I have just failed my state safety inspection in missouri and found out that the loud noise was because of a manufacturer defect on the exhaust manifolds. Both are broken in the same place. Nissan is unwilling to provide replacement parts that have been defective from the start. I believe it is unethical for Nissan to knowingly not offer replacements. My family has been at risk for years and Nissan refuses to take responsibility. What are my options to take action? how many complaints have you seen?.
The contact owns a 2005 Nissan Armada. The contact stated that while driving approximately 65 mph, there was a sudden loss of power as the steering wheel became difficult to maneuver. The vehicle was towed to a private mechanic where it was diagnosed that the fuel sending unit needed to be replaced with a new improved sender card. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and stated that the vehicle was not included in NHTSA campaign id number: 10v074000 (fuel system, other). The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure and current mileage was 120,000.

The rear hatch will not release & continues to be temperamental. This could cause a serious problem if ever needing to release the rear hatch in an emergency, such as in a life safety incident during a fire or accident, the rear had continually fails along with the glass release.
