1 Wiring problem

Failure Date: 11/19/2011

The contact owns a 2005 Nissan Armada. The contact stated that while driving approximately 40 mph, the brake pedal was depressed with a delayed response accompanied by an abnormal grinding noise. In addition, the brake warning indicator illuminated. The failure was recurring. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer, who stated that the brake booster would need to be replaced and the abs would require reprogramming. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the problem. The approximate failure mileage was 50,000. The abs control was reprogrammed. Also, the seat belt light flashed. The technician found an open circuit in the rear door harness. Updated 12/23/13.
