8 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 05/05/2015

On may 5 2015 my family and I were driving on the 84 going east. When suddenly we heard a loud noise and the Nissan Armada started vibrating and we had to make an emergency stop on the side of the highway. When my husband looked under the truck the drive shaft had broken off completely with out any warning. The drive shaft damaged the transmission and the muffler the exhaust and another thing I dont know the name. We were very lucky that the truck didn't flip over. I called Nissan letting them know of this issue they told me that they will get back to me on Monday. This is very dangerous and all drive shafts should be recalled and replaced free. My husband already replaced ours but just the cost of all the repairs is well over 2000 dollars which in my opinion Nissan corp should be paying for.

9 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 08/17/2013

I had my mom, aunt and 2 small kids in the truck we were on the way to drop my mom off at her home. Once I pulled up in front of her house we noticed the truck smoking. I got out of the vehicle and looked under the hood. I observed wires burning from that point I closed the hood so that the vehicle could cool off. I then walked my mom to her front door as I walked back to my vehicle I observed my truck on fire. I immediately rushed to the vehicle and got my kids and aunt out of the vehicle. The fire department was called and responded within 7 minutes. By the time the fire department responded my truck was in full flames.

10 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 06/28/2013

My Nissan Armada caught fire with no warning. Nissan has admitted this is due to a recalled air compressor unit with likelihood to catch fire. Nissan will not remedy the situation and is now negotiating in bad faith. Nissan has offered to buy out the car so they can sell the components at auction - however, they are unwilling to make us whole.

11 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 06/18/2013

When applying brakes, pedal goes real low and there is a grinding sound with no braking. Simultaneously the brake light goes on. I have to pull over and turn off engine and truck resets because I can drive away as if nothing occurred. Had checked once and nothing found, there are no recalls but several blogs and complaints included on this site for same issue. Now dealer wants to charge me $927 for booster. I have read and followed up on some consumer complaints and this action does not fix problem.

12 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 03/23/2013

At 61000miles 2005 Armada taken to tracy CA Nissan dealer they gave me estimate$ 2900 dollars to replace catalyst converter system . But I figure out Nissan give warranty for cat up to 75000 miles . That means they are doing bull shih they spouse to be let me know that it will be free , right. But god luck I took off battery wire and reset then went to smog in CA and I was passed but now my truck has 83000 miles and I got again engine light that says po420 mean cat converter need to replace which is 2800 dollars I can't afford that much so my question is who's fault is it Nissan or me but I took my vehicle to dealer at 61000 miles but that time they cheated me.
