The contact owns a 2007 Nissan Armada. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 23e012000 (air bags) however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer or an independent mechanic. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue and confirmed that parts were not yet available. The air bag warning light was illuminated. The failure mileage was unknown. We had a problem with the seat belt to where it wouldn't latch. Took it to Nissan and they said that there is something going on with our airbag and they can't promise that is we were in an accident that the airbag would release. Our light for the air bag as been blinking since the incident.
