Bci message appears on dash. Then a number of other dash lights (see picture attached).
Vehicle does not recognize that the brake pedal is being depressed when trying to start the car. Pushing the start button only cycles the ignition through the on and acc options. The only way to start the vehicle is to use the remote start function on the fob. Additionally, the vehicle experiences and displays a bci malfunction, aeb braking warning, and traction control indicator light is now on. These errors occur while using both key fobs even after replacing the fob batteries. There is a Nissan service bulletin for replacing the brake light switch for multiple Nissan vehicles.
