The rear crossmember subframe on my vehicle is completely rusted out which caused serious suspension issue and cause the control arm to be in contact with the fuel tank. It didnt go through the tank because I found the issue on time and stopped driving the vehicle but it caused damage to the tank. If I didnt stop driving the car it was just a matter of time before the control arm perforated the tank, which could have been a lot worse with a risk of fire. This looks to be a common issue with Nissan cars so I’m not sure how there is no recall for it. I keep the vehicle maintained properly and bring it to the dealer for repairs. The dealer also performed a lot of work on the rear suspension of my car a couple of years ago but never mentioned anything to me about this major rust on the crossmember subframe.
Unknown, brakes wheels & suspension.
I got this vehicle from a buy here pay here with 355,xxx miles the motor runs and drives great but when I went to go down the interstate after a month having the vehicle it was shaking really bad so I called auto parts and autozone and even took it to a mechanic they all told me alignment and if that doesn't work them put new rotors and breaks and we'll it's still there and if you go 35 you can hear something rubbing and when you hit 60 it starts shaking really bad and the steering wheel is very hard to hold when this happens so still don't know what it is!.
Brought my 2008 Nissan Armada to my dealer for an alignment ahead of a road trip with my family. Was told the vehicle is not safe to drive. The frame was rotted and cracked, and that the rear wheels have shifted. This condition is completely hidden unless on a lift. I have owned this vehicle since new.
After purchasing a 2004 Nissan Armada. Took to get a alignment and he mechanic diagnosed the rear subframe/cradle was severely rusted nearly in two so much so that the sway bar had rusted through completely and was just hanging loosely. After doing some research we have seen multiple reports of this recurring issue.
As I was leaving with passengers from store was getting on street heard a loud noise like hit something from underneth vehicle. Went away as traveling was hearing a scrapping noise from passenger side rear. Then got louder like something was about to bust like metal to metal grinding, scratching, popping. Noise rear passenger.
When I am towing my 4000 lb trailer, using a weight distribution hitch, set up properly by my RV specialist, with either unloaded or with a loaded weight not exceeding even 6000 pounds, the Armada sinks in the back end in a way that the rear tires come extremely close to the wheel well rims. My RV specialist is very concerned that if I am driving and hit a bump or hole, the tire could strike the wheel well rim and cause a blow out or major accident. They are concerned the spring ratio is not designed properly for the Armada (which has a tow package and is supposedly capable of towing 8500 pounds). I have brought this issue to Nissan north America's attention and they will not even take a look at the problem, instead telling me that if an accident occurs, it is covered under my warranty!.
While driving on the hwy vehicle hits a rough patch. Feels as if its hydroplaning, but corrects to over correct itself. Very unsafe main vehicle for transportation. First occurrence was June 2018 , and anytime I travel the onterstate and hit a bad patch of road. Last incident 29 Dec 2018. Brought dealership, nothing found.
Left front wheel, tire, disk brake assembly, plus caliper and brake disk detached from vehicle while truck was traveling approx 60 mph on rte 8 in conn. Truck spun into the median guard rail and I had to struggle to get it stopped. Inspection of the left front wheel well revealed that the tie road to that wheel assembly had completely severed itself--as if you were slicing into a cake with a knife. . We could have easily been both killed. I want you to research whether there were any recalls for this 2004 Armada of which I was never notified. Please respond to bobzysk@gmail. Com thank you.
Is mine on a recall? , because one of 4 readings 'takata recall ' tires pressure on my vehicle is not working.
Tires wear out on one side they said it need alignment. After the alignment was done ten thousand miles later same problem. Now they said it's the way we drive. I'm 48 years old and owned many cars and this is the first time I have this problem.
Brakes, at about 65mph car shakes violently, tv in the middle sounds like its falling out, engine turning over but not starting.

On top of the list of other problems iv had with this vehicle.
While driving at 45-50 miles per hour, skid and brake lights came on. Immediatly all tires looked and the vehicle skid of the road. I was unable to brake or stop the vehicle, it slid and over turned until it came to a stop on it's own. Before this my heat(a/c unit) went out on it's own as well as the wipers.
I purchased a used Nissan 2008 Armada le from royal Nissan on 07/11/2015 and the tire pressure light was on and they told me the tires were low and the sensors are gone and they want me to pay for it had the truck for 3 days and truck would not start paid for fuel pump and wrecker and they said it was computer 400. 00 out of pocket when it was a recall on fuel system before I had truck and when driving truck around curve it is like the truck is about to loose control from the front and rear you have to hold steering wheel tight. But I need my 400and something dollars back they made me pay for a recall part shame on them. Now in April my battery went out and I changed it and the airbag seat belt light is on blinking and they want to charge me for this and it is making a clicking noise under the dashboard and rear back door now when you start it up.

The contact owns a 2007 Nissan Armada. The contact stated that while driving at 70 mph, the rear end of the vehicle failed to stay in position. The contact had to continuously maneuver the steering wheel in order to keep the vehicle in position. The tire pressure warning light illuminated. In addition, the contact stated that the rear passenger side rim had fractured. The vehicle was taken to a dealer but was not diagnosed or repaired. The failure recurred on numerous occasions. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The contact was aware of NHTSA campaign number: 10e019000 (suspension) but the VIN was not included. The failure mileage was 160,000.
While driving at 50mph or higher, normal highway speed, it feels the car is kindly floating on the road and does not has a firm contact with the surface, on a perfectly sunny dry day. The feeling is like having tail spin a little. I've been having this experience ever since it was new, and in addition, the alignment is off from new, 1000-2000 mile new, and I always have to pull to the left to compensate. I went to dealer and reported this around 10k/15k miles, and they recommended alignment, and we did. However, problem persist. Just yesterday, the rear axle just gave up and broke. I took it to the dealer for warranty service, but they refused and accused that the car's been in collision. No, no accident/collision whatsoever! and no there's not any physical damage to the tire and rim. Rather, I believe this is a defect from the manufacturer.
2006 Nissan Armada. Consumer writes regarding problems with right front wheel.
The contact owns a 2006 Nissan Armada. The contact noticed the front passenger side wheel was fractured. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer where the contact was advised that the vehicle should not be equipped with chrome wheels. The chrome wheels were purchased and installed at an authorized dealer when the contact originally purchased the vehicle. A used wheel was purchased and installed as a replacement. The failure mileage was 118,000 and the current mileage was 118,800.
Three months ago, the differential in my 2004 Nissan Armada needed to be replaced. The independent mechanic said that bolts were missing from the axle and he was very perplexed as to why that would be. The differential was repaired but 3 months later the four wheel drive didn't work and the axle had to be replaced. He called the Nissan dealership and they said this was extremely common in all of the Nissan Armadas. They even stocked the front axles because they go through so many of them.
The brakes sounds aloud metal contact the brake light comes on the truck shakes you have turn engine off for at least five minutes.
