The manufacturer was contacted, and referred the contact to the dealer, but no assistance was provided. The failure mileage was approximately 16,097.
My breaking system has a malfunction that comes on and off. Sometimes the brakes automatically stop working and start grinding as if I have no brakes, but when I brought it to be looked at they couldn't find the problem. I notice that when you turn the car off and turn it back on the problems of sides for a little while will eventually come back later. For someone to detect it, they cannot shut the car off at the time that is presenting itself.

The driver's side seat belt sometimes doesn't latch and sometimes won't latch. There was a recall #15v501000 in 2015 for the seat belt latch with the same problem. I contacted the Nissan dealership where the vehicle was purchased, they said there wasn't a recall on the seat belt. But I could bring it in and they would work on it, of course the mileage is too high to be covered under warranty.
Takata recall - I see there was a recall on 15v501000 regarding seatbelts. I was never notified of any recall etc until I starting having an issue with my seatbelt light not turning off on the dashboard. I can Nissan and they said there was no such recall for 2015 Nissan Armada.
Tl the contact owns a 2015 Nissan Armada. The contact stated that the driver's side seat belt would not latch. The vehicle was not included in NHTSA campaign number: 15v501000 (seat belts). The contact called modern Nissan of lake norman (18615 statesville rd, cornelius, nc 2803, 704-603-6575) and was informed that the vehicle was not included in a recall. The manufacturer was notified and referred the contact to NHTSA. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The failure mileage was unknown.
Seat belt missing for rear back seat, delta sensor went out on me in a parking lot and I almost had an accident because my brakes wouldn't engage, and now my airbag spiral cable are now not working.

A few days ago I was driving my Nissan Armada and noticed a light on the dash. Google it and says that the airbags/seatbelts are not working properly. The light just came on and off and some times nothing happened but sometimes the lights come on just for no reason like after stopping at the gas station or early in the morning. And another day the break just stop working and I have to pump it up to get it back to work even though I have new break pads on it. So at rhis point im just trying to sell it although the engine works fine, im scared the bags may explode on me or hit someone because the brakes don't work.

Heating problem stopped working, replaced part and had to unplug a unneeded wire harness and relay in order to restore heat. Fuel gauge not working or reading properly. Still trying to find resolution. Front windows and locks stop working at any given time. Still trying to resolve. Check engine light, faulty exhaustsystem needs to replaced. Hard starting still trying to find resolution. Airbag light on was suggested seat belt buckle replacement.
The windows and locks and truck stop working periodically sometimes for days. Have replace the manifold/pass catylcataylic converter replacement 920$$ and was told the drivers side would soon follow at 920$ also. Ridiculous. Seatbelt stays on.
The side airbags deployed without any incident of an accident or crash. There was no accident-nothing was but or bumped just driving 35 mph and the side airbags deployed fully and the seat belts on the driver and passenger side tightened to the point of restricted breathing. The seatbelts no lomger can be used as they should. They do not extend out fully. And the airbag sensor light is constantly. Before the deployment of the side airbags the brakes would grind to the point of needing to pull over to pump the brakes in order for them to function again properly. This would happen every 100 miles or so.

Brakes, at about 65mph car shakes violently, tv in the middle sounds like its falling out, engine turning over but not starting.
The contact owns a 2008 Nissan Armada. The contact stated that the seat belts failed to function properly to restrain, buckle, and release from the buckle. In addition, there was an abnormal noise coming from the rear intermittently associated with the rear suspension of the vehicle. The vehicle has not yet been inspected and diagnosed by a dealer or an independent mechanic. The contact was included in NHTSA campaign number: 07v449000 (seat belts). The manufacturer was notified of the failure to determine if they may be able to schedule the recall repair and diagnose the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 100,000. Parts distribution disconnect.
The air bag light was flashing so I took my 2005 Armada to the dealership to find out the reason. The dealer is charging me about $500. 00 to replace the harness. They said the air bag may not deploy if I am involved in an accident. Also, I've had two instances where my brakes got jammed and made a loud noise when I stopped at a stop sign.
We had a problem with the seat belt to where it wouldn't latch. Took it to Nissan and they said that there is something going on with our airbag and they can't promise that is we were in an accident that the airbag would release. Our light for the air bag as been blinking since the incident.

Break system failure has happened to me more than once. For some reason it sounds like they're are rocks in between my brakes and the rotors. I have to reset the system by shutting the car off and turning it back on. I almost had an accident on the freeway because of it and no indication other than the noise that it was happening. Also, when a passenger is in the seat the airbag light does not turn off. I and hasn't for over 5 years. The driver side and/or passenger side seat belts also do not get recognized as being used since the flash indicator on the dash keeps flashing. When I took t in to the dealer they said there are no recalls but it's a safety issue. The vehicle has less than 110000 miles on it and had less than 80000 when these issues started. I just want my vehicle to be safe and everyone else who has the same one. Brake system, dealer can't diagnose unless I drive in there with the problem which isn't safe and happens occasionally. I may have video of the noise from the brake system which I will look for.
While driving or even just putting it in reverse, when I try to brake it feels like a spongy/stringy pedal that goes to the ground and makes a loud grind noise. You have to turn off the vehicle and it is fine, I have took it in the shop and nothing wrong, I am like really. . . I can't be turning the vehicle off every time it does this, that is a safety issue or a definite recall. . Now this happens several times and with family in the vehicle is a danger I think. Hope there is a recall for this issue. Also seat belts do not retract back after the recall that was done.
I do not have the VIN but the license plate is illinois g985474, a hertz rental. Seat belt (lap belt) bolt not anchored to anything four adults were in the vehicle, pulling out of a parking lot into a busy tourist highway, when the passenger in the left seat in the middle row noticed that his lap belt was loose, although he had "clicked" it in. When he tugged to tighten it, the whole think popped up. We stopped in the parking lot and checked. We could tell plainly that the large anchor bolt at the end had never been fastened down, had never been screwed in or had never had a nut on it. It was free. We drove on with the passenger using the shoulder strap. That short drive was the only time we needed seating for four large adults during this rental. I returned the Armada early to hertz and showed them the problem. The rental agent took note of it. I took good photos of the belt and its dangling anchor bolt before returning the car. I can email these photos to whoever needs them. I think this is a quality control issue with Nissan, not especially hertz. I got the impression from NHTSA customer service that this isn't a big deal, but I think it is highly dangerous. Why have lap belts if they are not anchored?.
2005 Nissan Armada 4/22/09 airbag light on, authorized Nissan dealer replaced front seat harness left hand side under warranty due to recall. 12/10/10 airbag light on again authorized Nissan dealer replaced front harness right side and airbag harness. 7/15/201 airbag light on again authorized dealer wants to charge us $1200 to replace entire harness system not related to the other 2 recalls they cannot pass us for the state inspection or guarantee the airbags will deploy in an accident or that the seat belts will work properly. Service manager tries to get my supplemental warranty to cover the repairs and that is denied. Why does this problem occur so often in so many instances with repair after repair and nothing ever corrects the problem . It is a safety issue not a wear and tear on the vehicle. This should be the responsibility of Nissan to guarantee our safety in this vehicle. We took the car back to drive as is we cannot afford this repair and based on everyone elses experience it will not be completely fixed anyhow.
Seat belts do not retract properly, get caught in door and tighten up with any movement, even looking left to right at opposing traffic. It is frequently necessary to un-hook seat belt and adjust which could potentially result in a dangerous event. Nissan refuses to replace seat belts when this safety issue was brought to their attention. The seat belts have been recalled only on certain VIN numbers - since mine is not included they will not correct.
We purchased a 2005 Armada with 50,000 miles on it in 2009, at that time the dealer sold it to us with the airbags system showing the warning light solid. They asked for us to take it to a nearby Nissan dealer and get the problem looked at because they were a SAAB dealer. The Nissan dealer fixed the problem without notifying us of a cost. This action was a cost of $330 which I asked them to take the part out because they did not have the SAAB dealers authorization. This dealership told me Nissan honored the work and warranty. We did not pay a dime. Now the same light is now flashing on the dash since 72000 miles. I still have a gold warranty on the vehicle but this restraint is not covered. If this is a common problem and causes system failure on the airbags why aren't they recalling it?.
The contact owns a 2006 Nissan Armada. While parked, the contact noticed that the middle seat belt of the second row seat was locked and would not extend. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer for diagnostics or repairs. The approximate failure mileage was 50,000.

Drive my Nissan Armada on 12/7/08 and the airbag light comes on with the flashing srs light. I have the extended warranty so I take it to dealership. Dealership tells me it's the sensor and that it would be $385 to fix and it's not covered under my warranty as it's an electrical component. So I do some research and see that this is a problem with 2005 Armadas (which mine is an 05) and that there is a voluntary service bulletin issued which states that there is a known defect and that some dealerships are fixing at their discretion free of charge. I call the Nissan hotline (1-800-nissan1) and issue a complaint. No one could help me, the last person I spoke to was the regional specialist. I say this is a known manufacture defect and that customers should not be held responsible for the manufactures mistake. So in the mean time, we contact our local dealership, again. Speak with service manager, he says that if there was a collision the airbag will not deploy, but there is nothing that can be done because my vehicle's VIN number doesn't come back with any eligible recalls pertaining to that. So fast forward a week to 1/7/09, see on my local news there is a recall on Nissan trucks. I look up the recall and see it's on the 2005-2009 frontier, pathfinder, and xterra that was either purchased or registered in cold weather climates. So I call dealership, he plugs my VIN into the computer "there are no recalls on this vehicle" so I call 1-800-nissan1 again. . Reference my old ticket and issue a new one. "regional specialist" called back and states there is still nothing that could be done for us. In researching this, this is a common problem for 2005 Armadas, customers shouldn't be held responsible for their defect, especially if it involves the loss of the use of airbags.
Fuel gauge not working correctly leaving you stranded while reading 1/4 tank of gas, brakes fail forcing you to pull over and turn off truck pull out key then restart, seat belts do not retract getting caught in door when closing.
The transmission shifter not working and the drive train not working for driving and making noise underneath the car while driving. The sunroof portion of nylon coming off and not working properly. The seat belt not working enough to stay around for safety. Nissan north America not willing to help me!!.
The consumer stated that on March 5, 2005 the driver's and passenger's seat belts locked when applying the brakes, the seat belts tightened like they were choking the consumer. The middle row seat locked, but did not catch in order to keep the consumer from going forward. Also when pressing on the brakes the vehicle shook so violently that one could not hang onto the wheel. The consumer had taken the vehicle to the dealer for the brakes, and the dealer said that the vehicle needed a new brake system. In addition, the check engine light had come on. The vehicle was taken to the dealers on October 5, 2005 because the fuel pump cracked. The vehicle needed a new exhaust manifold and the engine blew out. The vehicle needed a new engine. Currently the vehicle had 12, 000 miles on it. Updated 11/29/2005 - (12/05/05) the child safety seat was replaced twice. The rear second row seat snapped and pushed forward with the child in the car seat.
Bought new Armada in November 2004. It has been at the service center at bankston lewisville twice now. Repeat problem with brake failure and steering wheel shaking. Unibody creaks all the time. 2nd row seat belt failed twice, which threw my baby and her car seat into the back of the driver's seat!!! dash and consoles rattle all the time. Wind noise is horrible! dealer said they will work on it. I called Nissan consumer affairs and are waiting for a response from a regional specialist.
- I experienced brake judder at 200 miles - dash rattle first week of ownership - 3rd row center seat belt failed at approx 3 months of ownership - low tire pressure light and warning come on at temperatures below 15 deg f - at 13 deg f, approx 4,500 miles, car surged, stalled and would not accelerate and travel over 45 mph.
