I noticed at driving speeds of around 45 mph the truck would shake very bad. Also my heater would only blow cold air. When I took the truck in they said the transmission fluid looked like a strawberry milkshake. $6000. 00 later and looking online seeing all the other people that have had the same issues I am trying to figure out why Nissan is not being held responsible?.

The contact owns a 2002 Nissan Frontier. The contact stated that the interior heater was activated and would blow extremely hot air when directed to the foot vent. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where the contact was advised to simply change the heater settings. The contact was concerned because the heat would burn his feet. The vehicle was not repaired. When on the vent setting the system continuously introduces hot air into the truck. I have measured the temperature of this air at 118f when the outside temperature was 70 f. After trips to two dealers and the replacement of the intake air vents that caused the problem above, the problem is no better.

Consumer turned on vent and warm air was coming out. Dealer checked, and found cowl vent, beneath windshield wipers, was plugged with plastic. Plastic blocked fresh air from coming inside vehicle. Instead it filled vehicle with warm air. Nissan said it waas normal, and at this was working to resolve the problem.
When air controls are left at cool and the button is set for fresh air, there is a lot of warm air coming into the truck the fresh air cooling is molded poorly not allowing enough cool air to run into the truck.
