1 Power Window problem of the 2007 Nissan Frontier

Failure Date: 06/01/2007

First noticeable complaint is the automatic transmission that does not shift back down in lower gear when climbing a hill. It jerks and shakes at that moment. Secondly, the tire pressure sensor does not go off after correcting the tire pressure and keeping it constant. Were told the dealer will have to reset, which they did once and it happened again so for 2 years we have just lived with it, keeping check on tire pressure the old way. Last but definitely not least for this is the cost factor involved, is the alignment cannot be done due to needing to purchase and have installed 4 camber kits! Nissan should have done this already for a $25,000 vehicle!! OH and finally this just happened but the rear passenger power window switch went completely out!.

2 Power Window problem of the 2001 Nissan Frontier

Failure Date: 12/21/2004

For about the past year, the driver's electric window has been malfunctioning. When opening the window, there is not a problem, however, closing the window, it goes up very slowly and you have to tap on the button to get it to close completely. I took the vehicle into service today and was informed that my vehicle did not meet the "service campaign" because the serial number of my vehicle was not in the range of the problem and because my vehicle has 73k miles and the service campaign was only to 60k miles. No correction action was taken because my vehicle's serial number was not in the service campaign range. I have to pay out of pocket if I want this repaired.

4 Power Window problem of the 1998 Nissan Frontier

Failure Date: 04/01/1998

Doors have power windows that were made loose when new so you could not drive with windows partialy down. They had to be completelylowered to drive without wobbling. This is an air conditioned truck, so the windows don't get used that much, but they have gotten to the point of rattling loosely when winding up or down. They wobble at least an inch sideways. As I've been seeing so many complaints on the internet about Frontier pickups and xtera SUV's, I'd thought I'd like Nissan to know they have a defective product.
