My 2011 Nissan Juke has approximately 118,000 miles and I've ran out of gas several times even when it said there was 88 miles left in the tank and the traction control light won't go off it stays on constantly along with the check engine light and tire pressure warning light and its making a squealing noise and its losing power I've only had it a year I know they have been recalled for certain reasons but I'm not sure if this car has been fixed or not I can't afford to get it fixed due to health and medical bills including hospital bills from when my wife passed away I'm finding several issues people have had with the Jukes why isnt Nissan extending the recalls because for people who buy them from private people dont know if the car has been recalled or fixed its very unsafe I've lost power while driving at 45 miles an hour because it ran out of gas even when it displayed 88 miles left my car needs fixed and its expensive I had to replace the ball joint and was told it was going to be almost 700$ or it wouldn't pass inspection this car has turned into a money pit I can't even resell it I need help getting it fixed please.
The timing chain rattled, wearing a hole in the timing cover causing oil leak. After driving my car and parking it, all of the oil leaked out on to the ground. When trying to drive the car, even before the oil leak, the car would completely shut off whenever I would slow down, including in the middle of intersections. After taking it to a mechanic, they told me that the timing chain had worn a hole in the timing cover, and a Nissan dealership service shop told me that I would need to get the engine replaced. Even before all of the oil leaked out, I was put in great danger not knowing when my car would shut off when driving it and slowing down. At one point, the service engine soon light came on, but it went away and the car drove like normal for a period before the oil leaked out. I was never informed about any recalls or service notices when I bought the car or when getting it routinely serviced.
Engine failure and exhaust issue.

Problem with evap system. Many different codes are showing which means paying an extreme amount of money to diagnose problem and repair. Could be solenoid issue with the turbo part. Cannot get my car smogged because of this. The need service light does not go off. I am going to have to spend thousands at the dealer. This should be a recall issue.

Takata recall to whom it may concern my 2011 Nissan Juke has been having some electrical problems when I purchased the vehicle it came with a remote start two weeks in the vehicle wouldn't start with the remote start whenever I pushed the remote start it would click and wouldn't come on. It also made the two car keys I had not work and the monitor screen wouldn't turn on. I replaced the batteries on the keys and also the car and eventually disconnected the remote start ast the problem still proceeded. After doing so it worked for a couple months fine except for a few glitches in the monitor now it's acting up again while I was driving it the screen went off while driving I turned the car off and the screen comes on again. Then the car stops while I'm driving. I had a local mechanic check he said it was my timing chain in my engine I found an article on cars. Com that said the repair is covered under recall. I'm still making payments on my vehicle and I have no warranty the repair is expensive about 2,000 to fix so I am without a car.
I have a 2011 Nissan Juke. There was a timing chain recall on all 2011-2014 Nissan Jukes. I was not notified of any recalls. When my timing chain broke, I was told by henderson Nissan in nevada that the valves were damaged because of the defective timing chain. A rep from Nissan's corporate office told me that my VIN number does not fall into the recall category for the defective timing chain so they did not want to pay for the $9,000 for a new engine. There is a class action lawsuit in California in regards to the timing chain.
I was traveling on the interstate and it started loosing power and smoking really bad so I pulled off the road and called a tow truck. Had it pulled to the shop. They said the turbo went out. Had it replaced. Drove it 2 weeks and it started doing the same thing. Set on the road for 3 hours. Had it towed again to the shop. He said the turbo went out again. Been there for 2weeks already. Lost my job because I couldn't get to work. Had no way so right now I'm without ride. Illy has around 65,000 on it.

Recall 11v583000 does not include my VIN. All 2011 Nissan Juke should be included in the recall. My turbo currently needs replaced due to a worn bearing. Several people online have to replace their turbos in their 2011 Jukes at a cost of $2800.

My wife has a Nissan Juke 2011 which has a recall on it for turbo. She was driving suddenly lost power. We took it to the repair shop they told us its a turbo that went bad and there is a recall on it. We took the car to the dealer and they refused to work on it I told them there is a recall for Nissan Juke 2011. The dealer told us yes but not our VIN number when he entered into the system. What concerns me is that she completely lost power while driving and yes thats a very serious concern. I would appreciate if you look into this and have dealer fix all Nissan 2011 Juke. They dont mention what VIN # are having issue until you go to the dealer and find out you have to pay $4000. 00 to fix. I just think its not right but I am thankful she was not hurt more and more complaints are coming in I am hoping they will fix this issue for all car owners.
Starting approximately 12/1/2014, we began to notice a strong smell of gasoline in the passenger compartment within minutes of starting the vehicle. The smell would diminish as the car warmed up, but would not go away completely. We contacted the local dealer service dept. , and were told there was a recall on this issue. Upon taking the car in to be serviced, they confirmed the fuel leak was from the fuel rail pressure sensor, which is the precise problem which prompted the recall campaign. On further investigation, they determined the recall service (technical bulletin reference ntb12-021b) had already been performed on this VIN, and Nissan would not cover the repair at this point. Nissan's recall campaign id# is r1201, NHTSA#12v-069. It appears, at least in this case, the recall service was ineffective in correcting or preventing the fuel leak issue, making it possible that all affected vehicles may still be prone to this fuel leak problem . Nissan customer relations further stated they did not consider an engine compartment fuel leak to be a safety issue. I strongly believe an "increased risk of a fire" is a safety issue and Nissan should still be liable to correct an inherent safety vulnerability in their vehicles.

Timing chain blew while I was driving which is currently a service campaign issued by Nissan. It also blew the engine because it happened while I was driving. While they are willing to pay for the repairs to the engine simply because it falls under the warranty (not because their faulty part blew the engine) they are not willing to pay for my rental or give me a loaner. They also are not giving me an end date. So their issue is costing me $60 a day. I'm already up to $600 in rental charges with no end date in sight. Nissan also hasn't followed up with me to tell me when the issue will be rectified. It is undriveable and sitting at bertera Nissan in auburn, MA. Help!.
I was driving out of my neighborhood as usual when my car suddenly lost power going uphill at 25 mph. I had the vehicle towed to the dealership a week later and they said the engine had to be replaced because of a timing chain failure. At first I thought it might have been a strange incident since there weren't many other Jukes with the mileage I had on mine. I was barely 2 years into my car loan and already had to dish out $7k for a new engine. I opted out of having the car repaired so last year and had to buy another car for work. I had a 4 year loan on the car and half of that period the car will have been the car sitting dead in the garage.
The engine died without any warning in the middle of the highway. It was later determined that the timing chain broke without any warning. The vehicle was serviced on a regular basis. However, it appears that this may be something typical of Nissan vehicles. I was very fortunate that I was not in heavy traffic and was able to glide the vehicle to the side of the road. The vehicle was then towed to the nearest dealer, where they confirmed the engine was no longer functioning. I am submitting this complaint to warn others and also determine how many other complaints you have received regarding this vehicle. This should not happen to a well maintained and serviced vehicle with only 68,000 miles after only two years and 3 months of driving (highway miles).
The contact owns a 2011 Nissan Juke. While driving approximately 55 mph, the engine power began to reduce significantly with the illumination of the engine warning indicator. The vehicle was maneuvered to the side of the road and then towed to an authorized dealer. The mass air flow sensor was cleaned and the air filter was replaced. The manufacturer was notified of the problem. The approximate failure mileage was 5,700. Updated 08/28/lj the dealer cleaned the mass air floss sensor and replaced the air filter. Updated 09/13/12.
