Air Bag Light On Problems of Nissan Juke

Srs airbag light flashes continuously. Started about 3 months ago (March 2024) took car to repair shop, stated OCS control unit and passenger occupant sensors need to be replaced. Took to a Nissan dealer for 2nd opinion. Stated today they will replace OCS control unit & passenger occupant sensors. Is this something that could be covered by a recall event?.

Air bag light flashes all the time. Car has only70k miles. Auto shop says bags won't work. Sensors in passenger seat bad. Cost $1800 to repair. No reply after numerous try to Nissan 0.

Cpsc: i1530379a. Nissan Juke. Consumer stated the front passenger airbag lights up indicating airbag is off even when someone is in the seat. The consumer was advised to have the passenger sit in the back seat.

Passenger airbag will turn off when car is in motion or stationary and has person of reasonable weight in it. I weigh 115 pounds and my husband weighs 200 pounds, the airbag light says it is off when either one of us are in the seat at random times. The dealership service department said I just did not weigh enough at 115 pounds for the sensor to work appropriately.

Front passenger air bag and status light indicator malfunction: my wife weights about 105 pounds, when she sits on the front passenger seat, the pass air bag off lights illuminates to indicate the front passenger air bag is off. The airbag should be on with her weight. It starts to happen intermittently since a year ago.
